Whelp, I just got the worst possible ending. Markus is dead, Kara's dead, Connor walked off, all the androids got exterminated *groan of frustration*
It's very clear there's a "right" way the game wants you to play, which also aggravatingly translates into what they think makes someone worthy or human. So that's lovely.
Why can't Connor be a machine and still choose to do the right thing?? Why can't Markus choose to be peaceful but then defend himself when met with violence?? I just fubbed Kara's story at the last hurdle but I was too frustrated to care at that point.
Also Hank is genuinely an asshole??? Like he's mean to you the whole game for *checks notes* just doing my job?????
This game has been a very confusing and frustrating play experience.
I fell in love with the game, but my first time I failed it so bad. I wanted Connor to be a good cop, and that meant he stayed a machine and thr storyline got messy. Markus ended up failing the revolution and then dying. The only thing I got right was Kara's story, but I think that's the easiest one to get right.
