i can’t stop thinking about how much work the devs created for themselves with the so far largely unpopular decision to go 5v5. all the hero balancing and new ground-up reworks they will have to do, all the existing maps they wanted to add back in that they’ll have to adjust, and all of the other obstacles this creates when they could instead be focusing on creating new heroes, new maps, new game modes, and other things players are actually excited to see. not to mention the additional time cost these reworks will have when this game has already been years in the making and still seems only halfway complete

#overwatch 2 #like yeah it seems they already made the new maps and the new push game mode at least #but now they're CLEARLY struggling with all the hero reworks they have to do #because some heroes are completely incompatible with the new 5v5 style #half the tanks and a good quarter of the dps will need MAJOR reworks #and it's just like... why???#when you could have just kept it 6v6 and got the game out into the market while the demand is still there??
