PCT Lake Hughes Road to 7N01. This morning I wanted to get out on the trail and headed right to Lake Hughes Road where the PCT crosses. This time I went south up to Forest Road 7N01 and back to Lake Hughes Road. Again I got out early enough to avoid almost everyone I only met two people during the six and half mile run and both of them were in the last half mile. If I had gotten out earlier or not stopped and taken so many pictures I wouldn't have seen anyone. When I was leaving at 08:30 more people were pulling up to hike the trails. At the San Fransquito Canyon PCT trailhead I don't think there was any parking spaces left. Sunday along the PCT off of Lake Hughes Road. Originally I wanted to be off of San Fransquito Canyon Road, but when I went by the trailhead there were already two cars parked. I continued to Lake Hughes Road and there was already one car there, but I thought this should be okay. I didn't see that person on the trail, but somebody was camped about two and a half miles off of the road, it might have been a thru hiker or the person that was parked at the trailhead, I don't know. If it was a thru-hiker they were getting a very late start, their tent was still up and it was almost 8 am. The only other people I saw on the trail was a group of three about a half mile from the trailhead. However, on my drive back the trailhead at San Francisco had more than a half dozen cars and another group was getting ready to hit the trail.
