Help stop foxes being needlessly killed for fun!
In 2004, our Labour government introduced a ban on fox hunting. This supposedly put an end to this sport of the upper class, where foxes are shot and torn apart by dogs.
But now the Tories want to reverse that ban and legalise the sport.
It has been one of the first things they have announced will go forward since they won the election yesterday.

here’s the thing; i don’t even care about the animals
(yes, yes, i love foxes, tiny cute things with charming personalities is my secret weakness, nothing should be killed for the sake of killing, but run with me here)
the fact is, fox hunting is a periodic excuse for only people who have the economic wherewithal to maintain a hunting horse (in the uk, that is a lot of money) to drink port and then release a large number of powerful dogs who have been specifically trained to kill small animals upon the countryside - and follow them wherever they happen to go
if that’s your farm? sucks to be you
if that happens to be your back garden? tough luck
if you happen to have pets? whoops
fox hunting is basically an exercise in ‘we’re rich so we can do what we like without repercussions’ the fact that it involves meaningless animal death is, at this point, gilding the lily
