Well hi there! Welcome to my main blog, where all my interests collide in a chaotic clusterfuck. About Me:
My name is Rebekah, but occasionally online I also go by Disaster (my go-to gamertag, and the name of my sideblog for my sona characters hehe), or Merry (for my main blog and now main sona), ! I’m a young adult, queer, and use she/her pronouns.
I have two side-blogs for my creative projects. The first is @d1sa5t3r, home to all things Disas-Trio—my term for my trio of sona characters. I fear one of my favorite hobbies is making lore for characters who aren’t supposed to have it, but its a lot of fun and I have poor impulse control. Eirys, my main persona, is especially getting a spotlight over there these days, so if you’re curious about her, that’s where to look!
My other side blog is @onto-greenerpastures, dedicated to a story I’ve been chipping away at since middleschool (I am now a young adult, so do with that info what you will). I have recently picked it up again in earnest and have come up with a lot of revitalizing ideas that might just save it from its roots in preteen cringe. Hopefully.
This is a safe space for those who need it, and an unsafe space for those people need safe spaces from! If you have to ask, I would take it as a sign.
My Interests:
Hobbies: Mostly creative—writing, art, music, crochet, common-place journaling. I also like video games. Some of my favorites include Terraria, Minecraft, Stardew Valley, The Legend of Zelda BOTW/TOTK, and Pokemon!
Books: Brandon Sanderson’s Cosmere books (Tress is my first and favorite but I love ‘em all), Tasmyn Muir’s The Locked Tomb series, and Diana Gabaldon’s Outlander series to name a few!
TV: I don’t watch a lot of TV, but I still have some favorites lol. Stranger Things, Blue Eye Samurai, Ouran Highschool Host Club, and Noragami are some of my favorites!
Fun Facts:
I have hypophantasia—like aphantasia, except I see almost nothing—I like to describe it as seeing things like those green spots you get when you look at the sun, except only in my mental ‘peripherary’ vision—and the second I ‘look’ right at it, it goes away
I also don’t have an internal monologue (god really nerfed me fr /j). So combined with the aphantasia, my brain really is a white noise filter I have to turn into ideas and words. I think that’s why I’m as creative as I am, to balance it out. Its also why I’m so glad I started commonplace-journaling—it helps a lot with turning white noise into literally anything else lol
I don’t do music too often other than singing, which I mostly do for my own amusement/to soothe myself via vagus nerve. However, I played Trombone in middle-and-highschool, and I have two ukuleles
this art is also quite old (fun fact, I basically didn't draw for, like, a year after artfight 2024. I started again in time to catch the last few weeks of artfight 2025. I don't love that but we carry on). But this is art of Ven (short for Ventiara, on the left) and Rowan! They're from a story idea i've been toying with for a few years.
Ven is a princess who runs away from her duties in hopes of making a scholarly discovery before her father marries her off. She is proficient in wind magic and loves research, teaching, and reading in general.
Rowan is half wood-elf half fire sprite, and learns the latter half of their parentage the hard way. Running away from the damage they caused, they meet Ven while she is undercover, and the disguised princess hires the ragamuffin sprite as protection for her adventure. When she learns that Rowan only recently came into their fire magic, she offers to teach them as best she can. And then they fall in love and live happily ever after.
Okay, some more happens in between, but I haven't gotten that far yet lol. But one day I'd like to write a cozy fantasy adventure with these two :)
in trying to narrow down and develop what makes each aspect different from eachother (other than elements ofc) i have unlocked:

[not set in stone--this is an idea i am actively toying with and workshopping lol. but hey on that note if you have any personality traits you associate with the elements (esp light and dark seeing as those arent on standard lists lol) feel free to drop them below 🤪]
good news: no longer a basketball (and NEVER a baseball @the-bane-of-my-existence shut your whore mouth /j)
bad news: now its... whatever the fuck this thing is. biblically accurate angel? (ironic, for a story pertaining to guardian 'angels' i guess)
but hey while im here, here's some of my other aspect diagrams
(Firstly--the Aspect names of the very fist picture are currently the canon ones--these pictures include some earlier versions lol)
eye color is important to aspects--each one has a specific range of shades that are unique to them. guardians that are close to ascending to Full Fledged and earning their wings will have eye colors mixed based on whatever Aspects they're between realizing into--usually it'll be Aspects that are already next to eachother on the 'wheel' [that's a prototype term if i've ever typed one hellO], very rarely ones that aren't neighboring
each aspect also has different combat aptitudes--the more 'spicy' ones on the left focus on distance and speed, the 'calmer' ones on the right are tankier heavy-hitters, and top and bottom specialize in more magical abilities that i'm honestly still workshopping lol
also--not all aspects get along! nox in general isn't viewed the best even by its neighbors (ie their 'likes' are generous at best lol) due to a long, convoluted, not-totally accurate history of prejudice. you could imagine that if a guardian was between realizing into an opposing pair of aspects--say, luxa and nox--that there would be a lot of bated breaths going around... or something. idk. im writing this out at not even 5 in the morning whatever
ANYWHO, im working on a longer 'On Aspects' masterdoc (hence all the personality hullaballoo, working that out ahead of putting it in proper speech lol), so that will be shared... one day! eventually!

I'm now in the process of posting them to AO3 as they are now. For any who've already read it, I highly recommend rereading these new and improved versions, as some things have changed, some very important!

Greetings! Welcome to @pyralissheart, a blog created for my character(s) within a book I have been working on!
Pyralis (Pyr, Greek for "fire") is the name of the main character within said book. In Greek mythology, Pyralis is rooted in the story of a creature that lives in fire and is said to die when away from it. Thus, society now knows this creature to be a Moth.
Pyralis Farinalis ( Meal Moth) -

Moths are known to be drawn to the light, but once at light usually die with the effect of the heat produced. Moths, compared to butterflies, are usually more dull and not as colorful/"beautiful".
A little about me, my book, and my background!
Growing up, I struggled to read and write. I hated school and more so, hated reading with a burning passion. I will even admit that I was illiterate up until 7th grade. This changed once I figured out what fanfiction was.... I have been (kinda) secretly writing stories and one-shots for characters and scenarios I can make up within my mind. Though I only ever posted one story that kinda sorta blew up, and then I abandoned it out of embarrassment, that is when I grew fond of writing.
I moved halfway across my country to a place that had no Wifi and no internet acess and was forced to start my life over in the middle of the woods, I decided to pick up a damn book for the hell of it because why not? I have never been more grateful for a decision that I hated for so long, because within that decision not only did I flourish to love reading I felt like my brain had grown. Reading and English itself has so many ins and outs and no clear solution, its all interperation and how YOU the reader want to see things.
My hopes for this book is to not only show myself my improvment of where I began (Wattpad) but to also show my audience (the reader) these characters I have held onto since my freshman year of highschool.
At this very moment, this book has no name and no set release date. This is a passion project, and I am a student and employed, so updates will be slow and may take a while. Thank you for your patience!
Started working out some proper Flame of Strife designs today :) I need to spice up the first one tmrw, its supposed to be the properrr fancy one. Please tap for better quality! My notes!
So, I realized in Arrangements Unmade, in the rewrite, I entirely forgot to get rid of her golden apple that basically contained the power of her deal with Envoy. If you're unaware, she had it back then because she used to be the Greek goddess Eris, whose symbol is a golden apple.
But, when my friend reread that oneshot, he honestly had a neat interpretation of it, of it being a biblical allusion:
Speculation on the apple but this almost feels like a biblical allusion? Strife, as the one promising an apple, is the Snake in the Garden of Eden. Duplicitous and only convincing Eve (Envoy) to take the apple (the deal) for its own means
Now, that interpretation of her convincing him to take the deal in said oneshot, is wrong. Envoy's already made a deal with Strife at that point. But the devil symbolism was a really cool idea to me, and honestly fit a lot due to the fact Strife does nothing but manipulate and pit people against each other, and constantly remind people of their worst failures and regrets.
And so I leaned into that! A bunch of snake motifs: the pants design, the cape chain, the ouroboros belt. The first and the last are an ouroboros symbol as well, which in my head symbolizes the way strife between people is often cyclical? How when one person is hurt, they hurt the attacker back, or someone does in their stead, and the strife itself spreads. Or old issues come back eventually when people get up in arms about it again.
Then of course there's the apples, gold as well as a nod to who she used to be narrative wise. She has a chain belt of one, and I really like the torso chain apple portion, as it's supposed to represent the growth cycle of an apple. Basically as a 'Your deals with me will grow into something that you did not expect, and cannot escape from". :D
I also added in the green for more sparkly things other than gold (jade), and accidentally made the color scheme very Loki, but honestly that fits even better lmao. I loveee her nails, especially on her main design, the green fading into the gold.
And as for why she wears her shirt open with nothing to cover her chest—she doesn't care, kind of. She likes her body, and plus likes the fact it makes people flustered/uncomfortable. It also gives her easy access to make people even more disturbed, as she canonically does body-horror esc stuff by literally taking her heart out sometimes. She's a Flame and has her 'human' body adjusted in such a way that she can just, do that lol. So doing that wouldn't really hurt her.

or really any sort of cleavage jewelry/body chains/jewelry harness whatever the heck--i saw the note ab where else to add more gold and i think it's a beautiful option without taking away from her "my boobs scare people" (/j) factor 👀👀

a last minute revenge! one of hopefully a small handful before the event ends :')) work really loves to get busiest right when i've got a heap of other things i wanna do
this one was pretty fun! ended up being more complicated than I'd intended--i meant to keep things quick and simple so I could move on to my next revenge, and then i remembered that coloring is my favorite part, and then coloring leads to shading, and... well, i guess if i wanna find a better way to simplify my process, i'm just gonna have to keep drawing UuU
