Ben Solo Must Live. Summarizes evidence for Bendemption and a happy Reylo ending in Ep. IX. Includes specific predictions for Kylo Ren’s “death” and Ben Solo’s resurrection.
Courtly Love meta. Reviews how the Reylo dynamic in TFA and TLJ emulates the “courtly love” trope. Includes visual comparisons with famous works of art.
Don’t Be Afraid, I Feel It Too. Addresses why Ben said this in TFA. Discusses Reylo’s cosmic / spiritual connection and intertwined destinies.
Dom / Sub meta. Argues that Reylo has a consummately equal relationship dynamic, using sexual symbolism and their interactions in TLJ as evidence.
(A Reylo) Duel in Episode IX. Predicts when and how a Reylo duel will happen in Ep. IX (assuming there is one), based on the demands of the narrative.
Episode IX predictions meta. Summarizes Reylo-centric Ep. IX predictions (e.g., a Reylo duel, Hux’s coup, Leia’s death, a Reylo kiss, Chandrila, etc.).
Hades and Persephone Parallels in TFA. Meta that summarizes visual and plot-related parallels of the myth. This reblog addresses Han / Zeus parallels.
Hold on. Video lip-reading evidence that Ben told Rey to “hold on” after she was injured in the Throne Room.
On Hunger and Kylo Hunting his P®ey. My most popular / seminal meta. Reviews evidence that Kylo “hunts” Rey throughout TLJ in an attempt to seduce her to his side.
Ask responding to the discourse / controversy over the meta.
Hunger Meta 2.0. Answers an ask with several questions about Reylo’s hunter-prey dynamic, including whether Ben was aware of his motives.
Jane Eyre meta. (+ follow-up). Focuses on the parallels between Reylo and Jane / Rochester, and how Ben, like Rochester, must choose a better moral path.
(On) Light and Temptation in the Throne Room. Explores visual storytelling in the Throne Room through the use of lighting, and what it tells us about Reylo in that scene.
Parallels between the Hand touch and Hindu wedding ceremonies.
The Hand Touch as Symbolic Marriage. Covers evidence from the TLJ graphic novel, the adult novelization, and a new Jason Fry interview.
Leia as Rey’s symbolic mother. Argues that Leia’s maternal dynamic with Rey suggests that she will become part of the family (via marriage).
(On) Monsters and Men. Discusses how Ben sees himself as a monster, but tries to make Rey see him as a man, and how that relates to Beauty and the Beast and Reverse Anidala.
