You’re so right with that TikTok the way people treat female characters, especially when they’re revealed not to be a complete Madonna’s has such a Madonna whore complex to it! Especially how they’re treated to men who have done similar crimes or the more popular female characters usually because of their attractiveness! I recall talking about this hypocrisy, especially with Seth! I literally remembered those old posts talking about how it’s not Adam‘s fault that Eve is crazy when it’s literally his fault sure, she’s definitely not a perfect saint but he is the guy who manipulated her and attempted to drug her and manipulate her into this and literally raped her via adding his sperm, which caused the miscarriage! Like this person was Kaito fan and that favoritism obviously caused no media literacy in this person and favoritism not to mention demonizing other female characters to shipping the literal implied lesbian character with a man and worst of all made Duke Venomania fanart of Kyle and her and Gumillia and genuinely worst of all Rilliane they also had other sketchy fan art of other gross ships and are still on here and Twitter, but with a different account! Sorry about ranting, you were just so right for making that post because of some of the bullshit I’ve seen in this fandom!

Eve is a very misunderstood character alongside Meta. People either consider them to be crazy bitches who got what they deserved or think they’re innocent victims who could do no wrong when they’re personally a complicated mix of both! Like do people forget, Eve’s hatred towards everyone, including herself and her bitterness towards the world as a whole or self righteousness and desire to help people especially when that becomes the façade and even twisted warm as margarita and even as Mikulia even though like all those other times, it was truly for herself! Eve was snarky. She wasn’t afraid to defend herself when she felt like she was being disrespected! She was the type of girl who was unafraid to show off her leg scar to the scientist she had only known for a couple of days without warning kind of she kind of warned him! She is kind sweet wanted to avenge people and her village and destroy evil, but was also a deeply fragile and selfish and bitter woman who was very envious of other people’s happiness! Was willing to abandon her children due to the prophecy and due to the famine, but also felt deep regret for doing so, but also did it so she wouldn’t get killed. She is a deeply complex character! And I’m sad her getting reduced to this tragic or evil, crazy woman! The ableism in the fandom is insane! Meta is also a deeply complex character she was abused in the worst way someone can be abused but she did not come out of this strong and kind and a protector she was left shaken and horrified by the disorder of the world she was in after she escaped the control of her previous abuser, who was going to murder her alongside her other siblings/fellow clones and then she took revenge on the man who had shown her the worst of humanity, and then was brainwashed and fell deeply in love with the one guy who didn’t seem to be affected by the spell which gave her a sense of control that he wouldn’t turn into her last abuser despite looking like her first one due to her memory being funky! She believed his paradise was better than their already bad and horrible world that had already been infected with sin even before Eve committed the first sin and helped indirectly and directly spread the vessels of sin into the world! She was also the type of person who did it because she thought it was funny and she liked it, but also, she was deeply jealous and envious and hateful especially to those who she felt wrong to her or took away something precious to her as seen with the Institute and Eve especially her village! And murdering the her father and the chief of the village for betraying apocalypse and taking dominance as the mistress taking her vengeance out on a traitor, and on the people have wronged her and them! But she is also capable of some empathy as seen with the woman, even if she was still sociopathic with her and being deeply cynical And tone deaf about everything about her situation. She only entered the seeming salvation of their country project because it was her one shot at actually living with her lover who was now a small child incest basically because they’re clones well not quite it’s more self-assessed, but you get the picture, but then she grows a heart and besides these children, even if they’re the supposed salvation which they’re not deserved to be raised better than as tools like herself and she ends up fleeing and giving the children a happy life before getting a dose of tragic karma, which traumatize her daughter and leaves a deep longing for her with her and her brother and she basically stays as a ghost potentially due to a robin spirit helping or maybe she did it by herself who knows before she is tragically killed off after her abuser finds out she’s been looking at his memories and kills her for good, but at least she got to see her children avenging her even if it’s at the cost of the world that she’s so deeply hated!

They both haunt their children and the narrative and effect why Gretel and Hansel are the way they are in all their incarnations alongside Adam but it’s mainly them affecting everything! They are so complex it sucks that they reduced to this while the male characters get he’s so hot or there’s so much more complex than that or they are silly lol!

Meta isn’t exactly gone gone The reason why I said kill her for good is primarily because it did technically kill her but more of her physical form basically what happened to Catherine basically is what happened to her! She is a helpless spirit unable to do anything and is basically a ghost probably considered to be a legend or ghost story by people who could still see her especially Catherine as well and some of the other spirits! It is basically a fate worse than death but at least she’ll still be able to see her kids, even if they can’t see her anymore! Seth finally took her control from her, but her love for her children will never fade!

I haven't talked about this in a while... But when I finally confronted them about it 6 months ago, they tried to deny ever defending Riliane or other World powers. And of course, he played the fiction card to dismiss my criticism. 😭

First of all, I couldn't care less about whether you enjoy her character or not, that is entirely subjective and depends on your personal opinion. But trying to paint her as a misunderstood victim when she was clearly the aggressor for the most stupid and pathetic reasons (and a literal bloody tyrant), even claiming she didn't actually mean to cause any harm is absolutely disingenuous and a huge cop-out! Especially when you stated just earlier that she was almost as awful as Adolf Hitler (which is also a load of BS). You must either be a massive hypocrite, or you're genuinely that stupid and naive if you unironically believe this nonsense.

Secondly, characters being real or fictional is irrelevant to the discussion—Since there are many fictional characters who are just as evil if not worse than Hitler and other real-life villains, including some that are otherwise complex and well-written. Most of them are still objectively irredeemable scum (with some exceptions), especially mass murderers and rapists. And not just anyone can be redeemed or deserves to have a change of heart in the first place, so miss me with that idealistic fuck shit LOL!

I also believe that her redemption doesn't fully wash away past atrocities either, and even demonic possession shouldn't necessarily absolve her of personal agency or responsibility. However, she's definitely nowhere near as horrible as lowlife scum like Hitler, Stalin, Genghis Khan, Imperial Japan or Leopold II;

Plus many other World powers/empires in real life are objectively just as awful, if not much worse than she ever was in the long term, and have committed even more horrific atrocities—some of which still continue to this day. Whether you like it or not, Political Evil exists in this world.

But implying she's just as heinous, yet also arguing that she was never evil at the same time is truly some fucking peak level delusion. You can't possibly have it both ways! The mental gymnastics are crazy with this fandom 💀

With all that being said, my biggest issue is that he now tries to deny saying any of that shit (even though he clearly did). I'm not even angry at this point, because the least they could do is own up to it and admit they were wrong LMAO!
