Love and Deepspace: A Guide To Chinese Culture🐉

Today I decided to try to remember all (more like what I could remember) the collaborations that the game has carried out, which are, to one degree or another, connected with chinese culture. I won't go into detail about everything, but rather it will be a list with links to videos where you can explore the topic you like in more detail.
I wanted to write this post after some... ahem... unscrupulous people started saying that the game doesn't invest in the promotion of its country's culture.
✨ I'd probably like to start with Chang Guang Satellite. As part of the collaboration, a satellite was launched into space carrying messages from players and a musical theme. This collaboration was dedicated to the launch of the game.
LI's birthdays are always a special occasion, bringing not only vibrant emotions but also exciting collaborations.
🐟 Rafayel's birthday gave us a video about shell carving, chinese traditional craft.
⛄ Zayne's birthday allowed us to enjoy making a piece of art out of white porcelain.
🐰 And thanks to Xavier's birthday, we were able to see an elegant paper carving lantern.
🪁 And now, a gentle wind brings us another collaboration: paper kites. These brightly coloured paper kites were created by the skillful hands of master Hongli Guo.
♥️ The embroidered silk ball carries a message of love and an old tradition that continues to live and carry the culture forward to future generations. Moreover, this collaboration not only delighted us with an educational video, but also with a nice event in the game itself.
🌿 Zayne's myth "Trace of Divinity" allowed us to immerse ourselves in the poetry of love. Delving into the history of the origins of the ancient poetry anthology "Song of Chu" and the themes and plots found there.
🏹 Culture comes in different forms, including sports culture. To date, love and deepspace has had two collaborations with the China Sports Culture Development Center of the General Administration of Sport of China. As part of this collaboration, we learned about traditional Chinese sports, but also learned about modern sports and which ones the Lis prefer.
🧧 The year is coming to an end. New Year, also known as the Spring Festival, lights up the streets with bright colors. And in this storm of colors, the lanterns shine. But one is especially bright. As part of this collaboration, we saw a lantern with a design featuring five love interests. There was also an event in the game where we made a custom lantern with each of the guys.
Birthdays in 2025 brought us educational collaborations. Together with the boys, we learned more about the world around us. These collaborations took place with the support of Chinese organizations.

🥮 The Mid-Autumn Festival is another important holiday in China. One of the traditional treats on this day is mooncakes, also known as yuebing, which have become part of China's intangible cultural heritage. An entire video was dedicated to the cooking of this dessert with various traditional fillings.
✂️ Paper. A versatile tool that can become a work of art. It just takes a little effort and patience. One option is Chinese papercutting. Not only were we able to see incredible paper-cut portraits, but we also enjoyed a cute event in the game, where we were able to see other design options.
What other collaborations have we had with intangible cultural heritage? Well.
🌸 First. Flower hairpins. As part of this collaboration, we were able to obtain three universal head accessories in the game. By the way, I wrote a short post about this.
✒️ Second. On International Women's Day, we were able to see a poster written in a unique women's writing called nushu.
🌱 Third. Just recently, there was the Dragon Boat Festival, Duanwu, where we were able to learn about another tradition: hanging a mugwort on the door. And what message does this convey.

I think that for many people over the past few years, the game has helped them immerse themselves not only in a world of beautiful love, but also in a new culture that holds many amazing and exciting things. And the latest birthday collaborations have once again reminded us to take care of ourselves. And thanks to this, the game feels even more like an island of calm and safety, where we can relax.
