I'm still doodling, I promise. This one's mostly practice. Saw this guy walking around the mall. The one on the left is just me getting the idea on paper, while the others are me refining it to something that makes more sense.

I never intended to go without posting for this long, but I knew I wanted to come back for Inktober. I want to keep posting after Inktober (it makes great stress relief) but we’ll see.

Pandora’s Proper Introduction

I’ve shown off designs of Pandora for a while, but this comic is of her first time meeting Medusa. I think they’ll get along pretty well.

Let this be proof that I’m still doodling and practicing. This comic was actually done on four individual 8.5"x11" sheets of paper instead of dividing up one sheet into four panels. Took a while, but I’m happy with it.

First post in a while. I didn't mean to go this long without a doodle, but I've been spending time with a bro who just got back from a religious mission and I've been starting up a repair service at the video game store I work at. It's been busy. I hope to update twice a week again soon. For now, enjoy Medusa failing to reassure Pandora that her box will be safe.

It’s a Police Siren!

I couldn't take it. I had to make my Centaur have an accurate anatomy. Personally, I think I got it even better this time. I used lighter colors that really compliments the feeling behind this picture. I'll keep the other picture up as a record, but this is the all around better version in my eyes.

Mythical creatures are so fun to draw. This Centaur took longer to make than I thought, and I think I should practice drawing horses more. I’m pretty proud of this one, though. Edit: to further illustrate my difficulty drawing horses, I just noticed I got the back legs totally wrong. I can’t decide if I should keep this picture because of ask the work I put in, or take it down because it’s anatomically incorrect. For now, I’ll keep it up.

A few fun doodles. So, I have been doodling even though I haven't been posting. The reason why I haven't posted is simply that I'm world building for a blog I'd like to put my Medusa in along with several other afflicted people from Greek mythology. I might post some of the designs for things here, but I'd like to keep it mostly under wraps. I hope you'll enjoy just some fun doodles from me in the meantime.

A little unflattering, but she is part snek. Gotsa get that snek fix one way or another! Honestly though, I think her little sneks are getting to her head. ;)

The first image is Medusa acting like one of the characters from TJPone’s old monster girl (deterrence?) facility blog, a snake girl. I love their stuff.

I’m still working on what color scheme I want for her. Most of the colors I feel pretty good about, I’m just still experimenting with the skin and toga colors. Making progress!

Medusa and Arachne Selfie, Colored. Not sure how I feel about my Medusa skin colors. I was going for pale skin (really pale) and I think the green may have been too bold a color choice. Any thoughts and criticisms welcome.

Turns out, Curly Brace is really fun to draw! I don't know why I drew her in the same pose 3 different times, but it's cool to see her in different styles. I'm partial to the ones sort of resembling the Shantae Half Genie Hero style (the first and second ones here). Also, I colored them all, including the ones from my last post.

Just two Cave Story doodles. One of Quote and one of Curly. And, for extra fun, I inked these in with a single brush pen (which should explain some of the shakey lines). Cave Story is one of my all time favorite games out there. Incredible precision platforming, a charmingly weird and compelling story, and it's wonderful soundtrack keep me going back all the time.
