Perhaps the world of 2044 will be as different from ours as 1979 now seems from our present time. But let us also echo this wish into the future— may they have peace and happiness.

my brain:
don’t say it
don’t say it
don’t say it
don’t say it
don’t say it
don’t say it
don’t say it
don’t say it
don’t say it
don’t say it

me: “so what’s your zodiac sign?”
The Nice Guys (2016)
Donnie Darko (2001)
Brokeback got us good, don’t it?
Brokeback Mountain (2005) Dir. Ang Lee
Donnie Darko (2001) // Lady Bird (2017)
“I wanna do something with him that’s his first time. I’m gonna look in his face when he tries ice cream. Every time he has ice cream for the rest of his life he’s gonna see my fucking face.”
The Place Beyond the Pines (2012) dir. Derek Cianfrance
“And what if you could go back in time and take all those hours of pain and darkness and replace them with something better?” Donnie Darko (2001)

in another universe I’m easier to love
Wandered into an article with 140 iconic cinematic shots, the comments complained there was no explanation to their composition. Decided to give it a run down and keep it to myself.
The compositions are mostly self explanatory but I wanted to see what patterns I could find. That’s just how you learn stuffs.
