*Why Steven Stone is the best Pokémon Champion* -IMPROVISED VERSION-

This is purely based on my opinion and preferences, and I judged him based on a variety of aspects.

1. Appearance & Charm

- Steven's character gives out an air of elegance and charisma in addition to his suave outfit which compliments his already good-looking outward appearance and the title he holds.

2. Personality

- Steven is a very determined person with a strong passion towards mineral hunting and research. With a positive disposition, he always encourages people to be the best they can and supports them wholeheartedly. Being a very capable person he is, he never brags let alone look down on others. He is also quite the gentleman as it is shown he comes from a well-mannered family. Eventhough he is a champion, he does not emphasize about it and never lets the title put a distance between him and others as he treats all people equally. Overall he has a very positive character and this is what makes him a great example as the champion.

3. Pokémon Team

By no means his team is a threat as compared to some other Pokémon champions eventhough it is debatable, but his team is very fitting for his character. His team consists of Pokémon with mainly Rock, Ground and Steel types, and each of them have pretty good stats. Exception for Metagross as the Pokémon has a pseudo-legendary stats.

4. Role & Importance

Steven is shown as a very adventurous person in the beginning of the game, always exploring caves to discover minerals. Despite indulging in his hobbies, he does not forget about his champion role though it is unknown by the player during early game. As time goes by he met the player several times and giving out advice and items to aid the player's journey. At the same time he is also seeking out regarding team Magma's & Aqua's shady activities and helping the player defeating them. Steven also played a big role in the weather incident caused by the legendary Pokémon. By the end of the game only the player knew he was the champion all along, and he never hinted that before and decided not to go easy on you.

And that's why I think Steven is a great champion and character as a whole. Of course this is purely my own opinion. Thank you for reading!
