It’s almost poetic how I love spring but my allergies act up the second spring begins springing.

I am here, back from the grave to tell you that my first concert after the pandemic was awesome. Amazing. Incredible. I had lots of fun throughout the day even as I was a loony traveling on my own to see a Korean group.

At first I was super nervous because me being me got a single ticket (lmao) so I was traveling on my own and I would stand among the crowd with no friends or family - so completely out of my comfort zone, if I’m honest. I’m not a very outgoing person, I wouldn’t say I’m an introvert either but I do tend to stay back and stay quiet when I feel like conversations will exhaust me. So I was anxious I would spend the day on my own in a city I don’t know…

And then I made some friends!

I ended up meeting some wonderful, smart and funny girls! ❤️ And they kind of adopted me. We went for food and we hung out, and they basically dropped me off at my access before the concert. I got to my seat and the girls around me were also very nice and friendly! We chatted for a bit and then when the concert started we all just enjoyed it together? Screaming. Laughing. Crying. It was a lot. And I enjoyed it so much, especially because I don’t have many friends who are into that group so I don’t get to talk about them with anyone in person. This was fun and I felt like I did something special for my inner child - which is important to do from time to time, right? I am still riding the concert buzz wave and I got tickets for the next concert in a few months 🤭 (I’ll be taking my mom with me to that one! She deserves adventure too)
