Tonight, we say goodbye to Proxima 6500, also known as (never known as) the projector that brought Michael Jordan (house) together on the couch, actually known as (AKA), "the projector". She had been sitting under the coffee table for days and due to scholarly duties, she was never checked up on. The yellow tumor that we grew to love must have taken over and she faded away either slowly, or in a single electronic burst of destruction.
Many a good time was had with Proxima. Many laughs were shared under the influence or not; a few hands were held; maybe even some heavy necking. She sure did bring all of this house together for watches of Arrested Development, The Simpsons, and many, but not enough, viewings of A Goofy Movie. If you've ever laid your eyes on that big square-ish yellow spot that we grew to know and love, please take a moment out of your night or day to remember the projector.
The projector has been laid to rest under Ben's bed and will be there probably forever. Please feel free to donate any DVDs that you would have liked to watch on the projector to the "DVDs That I Would Have Watched On the Projector Collection", that we will collect and watch once we find a new projector.
Michael Jordan (House, just Ben though, I do not hold any of my roommates accountable for this eulogy, I am fucking crazy)
