Now this is an oldie from college, filmed on 16mm film and edited in roll for one of my first classes. From concept to editing we had about three minutes to completely film a short story. This one was mine.
As per the assignment no audio was to be included.
An oldie that I found from my internship at Crain's Detroit Business--I was asked to create and arrange a prize basket for an upcoming auction for charity. If you look closely you can see two of the tickets that I designed custom for the package using InDesign.
It was a lot of fun putting this piece together, but a challenge to get it wrapped up in plastic afterwards, haha!
While at the store today I ran into a familiar face!

Back during this summer I was able to be a part of this music video for the Kendrick Lamar cameo.
I was really fortunate to be with the crew again to help complete this project.
Filming in Downtown Detroit this weekend in the old Michigan Theater. These are only a select couple of images, and while the Theater has since been converted to a Private Garage you can still see House seats hanging off the back of the third floor, and the stage's arch is still partially intact. A truly fascinating, heartbreaking, and haunting scene all at the same time.

It has also been featured in print the 2010 publication of Western's Literary Magazine The Laureate which focuses on literary and photography submitted by University students and alumni.

This photograph has to be one of the my favorite pieces by far. Although blurred it gives the illusion of realism for two of my favorite characters Buffy and Angel from the television series created by Joss Whedon (Avengers). The picture however is in fact of two collectible figures in a basic background, but without knowing that I find that the statues give off quite a human element.

"Bone Castle"
I absolutely fell in love Toronto during a two day stay, which included a trip to the Casa Loma. There are dozens of photos that I have edited from this day, but this is by far one of my favorite. Especially since it has been the filming location for some of my favorite movies and television shows in recent years. The title is derived from the contrast of the stone in the composition to come across as more of a bone color than sand stone.

"Proof"
This photo is a manipulation of a painted/smeared hand print from inside Shop during my time in Theater. This edit comes after several alterations to arrive at this ethereal take on something that in person is probably quite ordinary (and based on the time I took the photo, odds are this has already been painted over)
