IMPORTANT

Okay so with all this fandom drama going on, I thought that I would share my own personal opinion because all of this is really getting out of hand. You can hate on me all you want for this, but please at least listen first. As an exo-l and army (yes you can be both, don’t listen to those who say you can’t), I am so sick of all this drama and mess. No, I am not just talking about what recently happened with Baekhyun (Although that was absolutely ridiculous. He did absolutely nothing wrong and was just trying to comfort a fan and as someone who has depression myself, I saw nothing wrong with his comments at all and he shouldn’t have needed to apologize.), but with everything, in general, that happens between army’s and exo-l’s. There is no need for there to be so much competition between Exo and Bts; both groups are insanely talented in their own ways. Just because you may not like one or the others music does not mean that that group or the fans of that group deserve any hate. Whether it’s the idols or the fans it does not matter, we are all people and we all have feelings. Both Exo and Bts are both very popular but does it really matter who may be considered better? In the eyes of some, Bts may be considered superior and to others, it may Exo. I personally prefer Exo myself but that does not mean that I think Bts are any less talented or that I admire them any less. This is also the case with Bts becoming more popular in America. Am I happy that Bts has made a name for themselves here? Yes. Am I mad that it is not Exo? No. This is because, in my opinion, Bts’ music has a better standing here than Exo’s would because it sounds more like the music we are used to plus I personally believe that bts really deserves it. Does that mean that I think Exo is any less talented? No. My point here is that just because you prefer one to another doesn’t make the other one obsolete. We should be celebrating the fact that both groups have made it as far as they have and accomplished all of the things they have. You should not waste your time hating on another group. That is such a pointless and hurtful thing to do. Your time would be better spent supporting your group and helping them reach their goals. In case you didn’t realize, the boys are friends and I’m guessing that they don’t appreciate that people are trying extra hard to put a rift between the two fandoms. They shouldn’t have to be ashamed of themselves or their fans because of stupid misunderstandings. If you don’t have something nice to say, please keep it to yourself. I’m sick of having to try and pick sides when in reality, it is not necessary. Can we all make an effort to make 2018 a better year by supporting and being polite to each other? I feel it would make everyone’s lives easier. Thank you.

     Clearly, what happened to Baekhyun is very rude and not okay. He only tried to help a fan, in which he succeeded but seemingly some antis had to turn it against him, twist his words and create all the hate he is getting now. I (admin Bri) am totally outraged, and not just me…the other authors of this blog as well…that things got this far. Since this is an EXO blog I feel free to express my anger towards all those Army’s who keep bashing Baekhyun for a thing he didn’t do. It’s not normal people, what you do! The fanwars you are starting are not okay, people! What is wrong with you?! Are you that stupid, full of hatred that you really have to start things like this? I (admin Bri) was an Army for a long time…BTS was my everything, I was happy that they were getting the recognition they deserved, but since they went to Billboard everything just became shit in my opinion. All the immature, young army’s the fandom gained that are ruining the image of bts is seriously very sad. Get a grip people, put away your hatred for other groups…Idols are humans too, okay? When will people fucking wake up and realize that? I’m so done with all those army’s who think they know better…my dears, open your eyes finally and see who you are attacking! I can understand if you think EXO is a threat to you, but this is not the way you can drag them down…and I can break it to you happily, that as long EXO has us EXO-L’s, they won’t be going away anytime soon! You make us stronger like this, because by this you’ll see how devoted we are to the boys…because in situations like this, the family protects everyone… after all, that’s what family is for. I feel very bad for Baekhyun, that all those people believed the translated thing…those people clearly don’t know EXO and Baekhyun.
