             carefully , he moved his hand to her back , rubbing it in circles that he hoped were SOOTHING. she was so dear to him , like no one has ever been—- tooru had never thought he could FALL IN LOVE , never thought he could have another person in his life to fill his mind constantly. if fate & destiny truly EXISTED then he wished he could thank them for bringing him & yui together. even this moment , difficult & depressing , it was simply a way to make them stronger & closer. it was an obstacle he wanted to help yui pass over to make the pain more bearable.

       ❛     i’m glad to hear that. even if i can’t meet her , it makes me happy to know that she would have liked me.      ❜  he paused at her next wods , a bit taken by surprise. but then a bubbly chuckle left tooru’s mouth & he pressed a kiss to the crown of her head.

             EVERYTHING ABOUT the other was very SOOTHING to her, it was something about his PRESENCE that always made her feel better. When she TOLD others that he was KIND and GENTLE, they always seemed surprised. At first she didn’t UNDERSTAND why, but it did start to make SENSE. ( they just didn’t KNOW him like she did. ) Maybe they didn’t know that adorable GENTLE side even existed. Which HONESTLY wasn’t a big deal, it was FINE.

                                                                                          ( she would KEEP HIM all to herself. )

               EYES CLOSED for a moment as he SPOKE and laid a kiss to her head. Eyes shooting open at the WORDS that came out of his mouth NEXT. Someone like HIM really LOVED someone like her. Maybe he didn’t realize it, but while he was trying to figure out why SHE was with him she was doing the SAME thing. She SECRETLY didn’t think she was GOOD enough for him. But even though she thought that sometimes, his WORDS touched her deep down. Everytime the word LOVE came from his MOUTH, it was like hearing it for the first time. So even though he was TRYING to change the subject, she wouldn’t LET him. She never did.

                                                              ❝ I LOVE you too. ❞

               A SMILE graced over her FEATURES, something that was RARE for her to do on her birthday. But her birthday’s of the PAST didn’t have him in it. Maybe if he would of BEEN in her life when her mother pasted away... Well, MAYBE it would of been easier. He would of HELPED her in ways no one else could or TRIED too. ❝ I want to spend it ALONE with you. ❞ JUST with him.
