Guess who finally got around to playing Bloodborne 3 years after purchasing it! I needed a quick break from working on school art so I drew Vicar Amelia.

Holland from A Darker Shade of Magic. I think he’s actually supposed to be like 40 in the book but idrgaf - I always pictured him as more of a menacing prettyboy :> I’m only half way through A Gathering of Shadows so please don’t tag with spoilers but I’m pretty sure he’s going to die horrible at some point and it’s going to be super sad alexa play despacito.

Ragnarök

It’s been ages since I painted anything in Photoshop. This is just a quick (~2.5 hour?) practice on lighting, atmosphere, and night settings. I’m not quite happy with it but I’ve spent the last 30 minutes just tweaking it and I think I need to step away, at least for a little while to get some perspective.

Hey did you miss Sallow-faced McCheek-Bones? Because I sure did! I miss Mass Effect and I miss drawing Dessa Shepard so here’s a quick pic of her in ME2. It’s been so long since I’ve drawn her that my style has changed and she doesn’t really look like herself anymore :S

Sorry I’ve been gone forever - I haven’t drawn anything in ages! Here’s a character design that I did to get back in the swing of things. Rieta is a tiefling that will hopefully be used in an upcoming DnD campaign. She’s supposed to have a phoenix tattoo on her neck (related to her back story... really), but in my concept art I just grabbed an image from Google and didn’t want to include it here without the original artist’s permission (for those curious, it was this one).

Note about my liner stays in because a) this is just a concept and I’m still working on it, and b) I forgot to remove it and am too lazy to do it now.

Sooo... yeahhh... I started reading Homestuck... It was really popular when I was in highschool and I always wanted to read it, but I never seemed to have the time. When I did finally start it, I couldn’t get past the first act. Six years later, after finishing both The Adventure Zone Balance arc and Car Boys and hearing endless jokes about how Griffin keeps making Homestuck over and over again, I decided to give it another shot. I’ve been reading it every spare minute I have since.

Vriska is... good... and if you haven’t read Vrisky Business you really need to. This was also a quick experiment with lighting, and playing with blue blood was a nice change of pace.
