I think the best thing i can say about the Trigun Stargaze finale is that i felt nothing.

I wasn’t mad, because i was already burned out about the previous episodes.

I wasn’t happy, because despite there being plenty to be happy about, i didn’t feel like any of it was earned.

I skipped through most of the final fight/encounter because i was tired of hearing Vash and Knives say the same thing every single episode.

Its over. Im free. I can move on to something that’ll make me feel like my time was well spent…like the manga. Maybe the 98 anime. But never this. Never again.

every so often, i think, and it might be so selfish of me, but i crave to be someone's first choice. i want to be the person that someone sees fun things to do and their first thought is to ask me to go with them. i want someone to be willing to inconvenience themselves a little bit sometimes for me as i would do for them. i want to be looked at in a list of people and to have someone pick me out of all of them. i want to be held at the same level as a romantic partner in terms of effort and closeness. i want someone to want me as much as i want them, even though it's not in a romantic sense. i want to be important to someone.

Things i Did Not Like:

To fast + too much going on visually = i couldnt tell what was going on during any of the fight scenes. Not clue. Just “oooh, pretty lights!” Also this whole ep needs a seizure warning

Not miss melanie putting the kids at risk while chiding her two sons-with-guns??? While nick is literally bleeding out??? Seriously??? GET OUTTA THERE or at least ONLY RISK YOURSELF LADY

Livio killing raz was too over the top for me to take seriously. Also, what the FUCK where they doing with the camera??? Half of those cuts/transitions didnt even make sense!!

They really didnt go gorey enough with razlos regeneration, in my opinion. I wanted to see something like the homunculus regens from fma:b, where we see bone and muscle and all those goodies, but all we got was surface level skin regen. Lame.

The fake out. Was. Mean. And stupid, honestly. Everyone’s reaction was so over the top i couldnt take it seriously. And then he just…didnt die? I mean, he still could, but that was anticlimactic.
