Looking for an SG-1 Fic help!

Daniel returns from ascension with amnesia but finally remembers he had a relationship with Jack… only Jack had turned him down and Daniel doesn’t remember that part until Jack reminds. Stuff works out in the end.

Anyways I thought I had this fic bookmarked and can’t find it anywhere. If anyone can help me out I’d appreciate it a lot!

Martin Gero's 'Stargate' Series Not Moving Forward At Amazon

Stargate, which received a series order by Prime Video in November 2025, will not be moving forward, Deadline has confirmed.

This makes me so sad! 😭😭😭😭😭😭

This is exactly what i DON'T want. 😭😭😭 Let's face it, in 2026 the only people who are interested in checking out a new Stargate show are the ones who have enjoyed the original series. So getting a showrunner who had worked on those was a great sign that promised a continuation all that worldbuilding, but with a new entry point.

If Amazon's issues were so fundamental that notes to the showrunner couldn't bring them into alignment, then i don't want Amazon's version. If there ever is one. 🤬🤬🤬😡

What have all of these execs forgotten about the success of Star Trek: TNG. Same universe as its predecessor, same basic premise but totally new cast and stories. Still honored old trek but was totally watchable by anyone who had never seen any other trek at all. Hugely successful!!!!!! There’s no reason Stargate can’t continue on. That doesn’t even close the door on old casts, TOS actors made some appearances in TNG and VOY.

I am so bummed about this but honestly fans can write better stories than we are going to get from Amazon.

Just wanted to bring to your attention that the term whump was actually coined by the Stargate fandom specifically to describe making this guy suffer. He is the original Mr. Whump (no that's not his actual name). That's how torturable this guy is.

Everyone say mean things about him.

Here is a non exhaustive list of what he goes through in canon btw:

His parents get crushed to death right in front of him when he is a kid

He is forced to relive the memory of his parents death countless times

He dies and gets resurrected

His wife gets possessed

He fails to save her and she dies in his arms

He dies and gets resurrected again

He gets infected by a virus that makes him act crazy and gets put in an insane asylum

He dies and gets resurrected again

His ex gets possessed

He is exposed to a lethal dose of radiation

He dies and ascends to a higher plane, then gets kicked out of the higher plane and his memory is wiped

He gets kidnapped by a princess

He gets kidnapped by a fish alien

He gets kidnapped and tortured by some terrorists

He gets kidnapped and tortured by another alien

He is driven to insanity by an alien device

He dies and gets resurrected again

He dies and gets resurrected again

that princess who kidnaps him? Forces him to get addicted to an alien healing device, the withdrawal from which makes him crazy enough to beat a man senseless, almost kill his boyfriend best friend, then break down sobbing

addicted to a purple glowing light and the withdrawal makes him suicidal and then he goes into v-fib (dies, then comes back to life. Again.)

His boyfriend best friend gets alien knowledge put in his brain and it almost kills him and there's nothing he can do to help. This happens twice.

A space pirate ruins his dream-trip to an ancient lost city by stealing his ship, transported the whole crew off the ship but kept HIM SPECIFICALLY because he's hot, then sexually harasses and beats the everliving crap outta him

Is forced to give the order to torpedo a submarine where his boyfriend best friend is trapped with a horde of robot spiders. The spiders are going to kill his friends anyway, the torpedo would end it faster. There is nothing he can do.

The reason he was stuck on the base giving that order instead of out there fighting side by side with his lover best buddy? He got Appendicitis :(

Jack O'Neill is something like the best boss ever.

Compentent. Zero prestige: will happily make jokes at his own expense, and always listens to his subordinates whenever they know more than he does. Cares for his subordinates and covers for them whenever higher-ups or outsiders are angry with them.

Too bad he's fictional.
