an aspect of akito's character that i find to be... suprisingly overlooked is the fact that he cares about the people around him a lot. despite his tendency to be harsh and no nonsense at times, akito has a history of doing things to help out others (even if he's not close with them!!!) because he can relate, empathize, etc. akito cares about those around him (and their opinions — especially on him) a lot. i feel as if his more blunt criticisms of others (or just. general dynamic with tsukasa and ena) tend to be focused on much more than his actual kindness — to a point where it feels near exaggerated.

especially with vbs' second world link completely recontextualizing akito's actions in the main story towards the vivids.
even his actions that seemed like cruelty (especially with how he presented it to toya — "we're gonna crush them" etc.) had, at it's core, good intentions: "i want to give the vivids the motivation and wake up call to improve, because at this point in time, they won't make it far". akito being genuinely upset over their breakup shows that he did it in hopes of seeing them succeed and improve.
at times, he plays this uncaring and cold facade, but it couldn't be farther from the truth.

There’s also a fan theory/crackship that is Larry and Franziska, based on their dynamic by the ‘Investigations’ games, and how by ‘Spirit of Justice’ Larry had actually convinced her to model for him for his picture book series, from which he became Spencer Shay-level rich.
As a crackship I think that’s HILARIOUS and I love it. It’s also super cute to see Franziska open up to more people and form genuine friendships/relationships, especially with someone like Larry.
