Just Dump Him

In my vanilla life, I get lots of girls asking me for relationship advice. I make it clear to them that I don't vanilla date, only sugar. They still want advice. I have found that 9 times out of 10, my advice is to dump him. Men in their twenties ain't shit. If they don't respond to texts, if they honk for you to come outside when they pick you up, if they pressure you into (mediocre) sex: dump him. You don't need a man, and you are so much better than that.

The Effect of Sugaring on my Self Esteem

First of all, apologies for being MIA! Mid semester stress hits HARD.

I've been asked by lots of people how sugaring effects my self esteem. I posted earlier that you have to have thick skin to sugar, and that is very true. A couple times I've been really kicked down. However, overall I am more confident thanks to sugaring. I stopped putting my worth into other's opinions, but at the same time it's a good boost to know men want to support me for spending time with them. It's a nice change, especially after being with college boys!

In addition to this, the sugar bowl can be a really supportive community! Other SBs will hype you up. When getting advice for allowances, you are told "Don't try and come up with your worth. You are priceless!" It's wholesome

If you really NEED the money, don't do sugaring

Maybe this seems a little confusing, but let me explain. If you are in a situation where you reallllly need the money, as in you're borderline being evicted, consider something other than sugaring. If you are in a position where you're desperate for money, you are willing to do whatever necessary to make that money, and being desperate in the sugar bowl is super dangerous. If you feel like you can't turn down an SD, you will end up getting pumped and dumped or worse.

Do I charge before messaging?

On here, absolutely, otherwise I would lose my mind talking to bots and scammers. On SA and other sites, no. I know some SBs in bigger areas do this because there is a plethora of SDs, but here, a girl can't afford to scare off guys by charging upfront. I will put this very plainly: a lot of people in the sugar bowl are ASSHOLES. Like complete, total assholes. Holy shit are they mean. My friend was considering getting into sugaring, and I told her she shouldn't because she tends to be sensitive. I am one of the most confident, thick-skinned people you will meet, but even I have points where I have to turn off notifications for the reddit page or my apps because you will kicked down and spit on. This is why it is so important to have a support system, preferably of other SBs. Vanilla people try and be supportive, but sometimes only a fellow SB can understand.
