Hello... again
Hello everyone. Sorry if I sorta ghosted anyone I was RPing with, I just had a lot going on. I think I’m ready to saddle up and RP again though, I need to practice my writing and get back my Garen persona! If anyone is interested let me know. I’ll be going back to find old threads with people I RPed with in hopes to revive it.

Sorry I’ve been MIA. With work and finals and just life things happening I’ve had NO time to do any RPing. I promise I’ll get to replies as soon as I can but that might not be for a bit depending on my schedule.

“A heart, huh?” Garen grinned again, thinking about what it would look like. “Don’t worry, all hearts are pretty deformed, wouldn’t you say?”
Garen looked back at the cigar in his hand, thinking about the advice he was given. He could only imagine the look on his sister’s face if she knew he was smoking a cigar, not only that, but drinking in a bar as well. He wondered if she’d judge him, knowing what he was doing. He figured most likely not, but when he was a little drunk, his mind liked to overthink.
Garen put the cigar to his lips and inhaled deeply, letting the smoke sit in his lungs for a moment before blowing it out. He coughed this time too, but not nearly as much as he did before.
“Better?” He asked, his eyes watering slightly. He wasn’t sure he could get used to the taste, or the process, of smoking.
“Well, I can’t really complain about talking about things that are too dark. I was just going to ask what it’s like to be on your own all the time,” Garen rubbed the back of his head a little awkwardly.

Jhin sat silently in the cold classroom, carving at the desk with the end of his pencil. He glanced around at who else was there, and only a few faces stuck out from being in his classes. He rest his head in his hand, restlessly tapping at his desk. He doesn’t even quite remember what had gotten him in here, it must have been insignificant. He looked over at the sleeping teacher, then back at one of his classmates, Garen. How had he gotten in here? He was one of the most rule abiding people in this whole school, and he had landed himself in detention? Himself, he could understand, even if he couldn’t remember what he did. But Garen was definitely a surprise. He quietly got up from his desk, going to sit at the desk next to the crownguard. “What on this green earth could you have done to get in here?” His tone was hushed to not wake up the administrator watching the classroom.
“Well, I hate to break it to you, but…” Garen started, not wanting to hurt his feelings. “Like, I don’t want to sound mean, and no offense, of course, but I am more attractive than you. It’s just a simple fact of life! I can’t help it, you know?”
He listened as the other spoke about the shallowness of people, completely bewildered by his words. “Wow. Shallow people? They must suck, I mean, wow.” He shook his head. “I can’t even imagine talking to a shallow person like that. Anyways, are there really a lot of gay kids here? And who are some of these gay kids at school? I’m, uh, asking for a friend, obviously. Because I’m straight, you know?” He chuckled nervously.

Garen coughed slightly as he blew the smoke ring past his face. “Honestly, I’m a little impressed with that,” he chuckled a bit. He never thought he’d be amused by someone smoking a cigar in a bar.
Probably something to do with all the alcohol.
He couldn’t help but stare a little as Graves showed him how to smoke from the cigar. Slightly admiring the facial expressions he made as he smoked, the way his lips formed to take a draw and blow out the perfect smoke ring. How he had blue eyes like himself, but they had definitely seen more than he had. He could tell his own blue eyes were a little misted over, so he shook his head and blinked a few times.
He took the cigar back, reluctant at first to try again. “So...” he began, biting his lower lip slightly, “I’m supposed to hold it in my lungs a bit?” He wanted to try again but he didn’t want to embarrass himself again.
“That’s a little dark... wouldn’t you say?” Garen grinned at him. “I mean, you’re not wrong, but it’s still a little dark.”
"Hey, Ezreal, I have a question about magic."
The blonde looked up to the tall Demacian, he hummed as he put down his drink beaming up at the tall man, lapis colored eyes shimmering happily as he patted the spot next to him.
“Heya Garen, take a seat?” he grinned to him, sitting cross legged on the bench. The star guardian was surprisingly out of his costume for once, sitting in a loose tank top and a faded pair of rather comfortable pants, He seemed to be having a lazy day.

Garen has the slightest blush on his face, feeling a bit overdressed for the occasion. He had just left a formal party he attended with his parents so he was in a navy suit, a rose pink button-up, and a golden bowtie. He unbuttoned the bottom button of his suit jacket and sat next to him.
“Uhh, sorry about the…” he made a gesture with his hands to signify his outfit. “I was at a thing.” He put his face in his hand for a second before looking back at Ezreal. “I really should’ve gone home and changed.”
Ezreal simply chuckled, putting a hand on his broad shoulder, “Hey-” he gave an understanding smile, “Sure you didn’t dress up just for me, Big guy?” he teased lightly, “I don’t mind seeing you in a suit, You look good, honestly.”
He blushed slightly as he gave his compliment, the very tip of his elf-like ears wiggling just a little bit. “So, What’s your question Garen? Or was it an excuse to come and see me?” he winked.
Garen’s face turned a shade of red with Ezreal’s flirting. He grinned slightly, showing off his perfect white teeth. “No, you know, as much as I wanted to dress up for you, it was for a Demacian Ball.” He chuckled slightly. “Does Shauna scare you too? Or is it just me? Because she was there and even in a dress she intimidates me.”
“Oh, right, my question,” Garen sat up a little, adjusting his bow tie and rearranging his hair — which was styled much neater than usual —before he continued. “I was curious if magic was something you were born with, or something you learned to do? Because I always wondered why Lux has such powerful magic, but I have virtually none.”
“I’m flattered, Garen~…” the star guardian cooed at the tall Demacian, eyes filled with amusement at his words, “Look, If Shauna didn’t scare me, dress or not, I’d be a very foolish person.” He laughed lightly before his question made him pause, a hum passing his lips.
“Well, yes it’s something you’re born with. Truthfully, everyone has magic, Garen.” He admitted, “Some like Lux and I just manage to tap into that a lot easier, sometimes it’s just small tidbits, perhaps a bit of magic plays into your strength, small enough that it can’t be sensed.”
“In an easier term, thing of magic like a muscle, if you don’t exercise it, it won’t ever strengthen. Since you practiced more in swordplay, I suppose any magic you have just… adapted.”
“Yeah, Shauna is terrifying, and anyone not afraid of her is certainly a fool,” Garen nodded his agreement. “I just don’t understand how someone can be so calm and collected, but also so strong. I thought I was calm and collective and strong, but not compared to her. She’s tough, and I give her credit for that.”
“And interesting…” Garen thought as he rubbed his chin, looking away from Ezreal. He did wonder how Lux managed to have such powerful magic when he had, well, next to none, it would seem. Though, he wasn’t sure what to call it when he called a giant sword from the sky to smite down his enemies. Magic, perhaps.
“Okay, so,” Garen turned back to Ezreal, his blue eyes full of determination, “would my ability to heal fast be magic, or just me being a... stronger person, of sorts, and able to heal faster than normal people? Because honestly I can’t tell. Like, does magic have a special feeling when you’re using it? Or is it something that just happens?”

“So, what do you do all day besides call me a coward?” Garen asked, crossing his arms.
