Idiot Writer Guide to Horse Riding
First thing: horses are not bikes or cars. They are large, emotional animals with opinions. If they donāt trust the rider, everything gets harder.
Mounting is awkward. Even experienced riders donāt look graceful every time. Missing the stirrup happens. Especially under stress.
Riding is physical work. Thighs burn, hands cramp, lower back aches. Beginners feel it in minutes, not hours.
Horses spook. Sudden noises, shadows, smellsāanything can set them off. A startled horse doesnāt politely wait for instructions.
Speed has limits. You cannot gallop forever. Horses overheat, tire, and need breaks or they risk injury.
Stopping is not instant. Horses need distance to slow down. Pulling hard just makes things worse.
Terrain matters a lot. Mud, rocks, steep hills, ice, forests, crowdsāeach changes how fast and safely you can ride.
Falling hurts. Even a short fall can knock the wind out, break bones, or leave a rider stunned and slow to get up.
Horses get injured too. Strained legs, thrown shoes, sore backsāan injured horse may refuse to move at all.
Bond beats skill. A calm horse with a trusting rider is safer than a powerful horse with someone it doesnāt know.
Fear travels both ways. If the rider panics, the horse feels it and reacts.
Long rides leave evidence. Chafing, stiffness, sore muscles, raw handsānobody rides all day and looks fine.
Talking while riding is hard. Breath bounces, voices break, and shouting is common at faster speeds.
If the rider is unconscious or dead, the horse doesnāt magically keep going toward the destination.

šØBREAKING: OpenAI published a paper proving that ChatGPT will always make things up.
Not sometimes. Not until the next update. Always. They proved it with math.
Even with perfect training data and unlimited computing power, AI models will still confidently tell you things that are completely false. This isn't a bug they're working on. It's baked into how these systems work at a fundamental level.
And their own numbers are brutal. OpenAI's o1 reasoning model hallucinates 16% of the time. Their newer o3 model? 33%. Their newest o4-mini? 48%. Nearly half of what their most recent model tells you could be fabricated. The "smarter" models are actually getting worse at telling the truth.
Here's why it can't be fixed. Language models work by predicting the next word based on probability. When they hit something uncertain, they don't pause. They don't flag it. They guess. And they guess with complete confidence, because that's exactly what they were trained to do.
The researchers looked at the 10 biggest AI benchmarks used to measure how good these models are. 9 out of 10 give the same score for saying "I don't know" as for giving a completely wrong answer: zero points. The entire testing system literally punishes honesty and rewards guessing.
So the AI learned the optimal strategy: always guess. Never admit uncertainty. Sound confident even when you're making it up.
OpenAI's proposed fix? Have ChatGPT say "I don't know" when it's unsure. Their own math shows this would mean roughly 30% of your questions get no answer. Imagine asking ChatGPT something three times out of ten and getting "I'm not confident enough to respond." Users would leave overnight. So the fix exists, but it would kill the product.
This isn't just OpenAI's problem. DeepMind and Tsinghua University independently reached the same conclusion. Three of the world's top AI labs, working separately, all agree: this is permanent.
Every time ChatGPT gives you an answer, ask yourself: is this real, or is it just a confident guess?

This has resulted in mass exclusion of the trans community from numerous organizations, along with ongoing violent assaults on both trans and cis women alike.
With the new Harry Potter series she will be making a reported $20 million per-season renewal + other performance dependent royalties. She has been open across multiple interviews regarding her intentions to use said funds to push forth even more trans targeted legislation in the years to come.
This isnāt a āshe gets paid no matter whatā situation. The more eyeballs on this show the more money she has to actively harm vulnerable communities. By engaging with it you are directly supporting this and otherwise making a conscious choice to consume HP over doing the literal very least possible to not destroy the lives of trans people across the world.

Hey. If people aren't aware, Microsoft admitted they know who you and where you are at all times and will give your info to the police.
They have a Global Device Identifier (GDID) Tracker that functions as a fingerprint for your PC that can surpass VPNs, proxy servers and countries. Although it can't survive a clean reinstall of Windows (it can survive updates), because Microsoft forces you to go to the internet and log in into a Microsoft account, they will be able to get to you.
Microsoft kept it secret and it was only found out when the FBI tracked a hacker thanks to the information Microsoft gave them.
You should be paying attention to this, and possibly consider moving away from Windows. If a government, especially the US government, doesn't like you for some reason, this could be seriously concerning.

Ok so Iāve been playing for 18 years and iām a string teacher. Can i just say how IMPORTANT it is for young kids to see a BLACK, MALE-PRESENTING PERSON playing, nae, SHREDDING on a violin? Iāve know maybe 5 black people who played stringed instruments throughout my schooling and teaching (predumably because iām an upper middle class white woman). In districts where the population is predominantly black, funding is always low, so the instruments are crappy. Kids quit, or the program is dismantled. Iāve seen very few professional string players who are black.
Obviously there are black string players. We just donāt see them because they ādonāt look likeā string players.
This person is the real deal. They were clearly classically trained, and seems to have some fiddle training as well. How cool is that?
