Brief history of me and my illness
Update
Have not been on here in a while been looking at wordpress and stuff about my illness I believe knowledge is key. Link above if you want a noise.
My heart rate monitor crapped out I thought I was wreaked but sent it to sport shop and they replaced it today. Bit of a set back in my training for marathon but I am eager to get out tomorrow and get stuck in again. Hope all well with everyone.
Still tipping away at low heart rate training it takes a bit of patience but I am getting used to it - 15 miles flew by today did not take on any fuel might start looking at that as the miles increase further
Meant to put this up Yesterday did not have time. My splits where a bit slow but considering I have bit of cold I can live with that. Have 2 mile recovery run today might post that later. On a side note I love weekends having to do overtime at work at moment early mornings not agreeing with me. Hope every ones Sunday is going well
Nice easy 14 mile this morning myself and the dog got drowned wet but neither of us minded. Hope your weekend is going well - managed to clock up 44 miles in last 7 days. Did not notice it go by.
Nice easy 8 mile this morning. I got a new watch no clue about half the information it gives me but will try to get the hang of it over time. The low heart rate training is going well I feel full on energy even if my times are still very slow I don’t mind so much. Hope ever ones weekend is going well. :)
Registered for Cork city marathon in June Today. Its nice to have something to look forward to. It will be interesting to see if the low heart rate training has any effect on how I feel running the marathon. Decided to run this year for Cork ARC house a worthwhile Charity.
Nice handy 12 mile this morning. It was impossible to run up the hill at the low heart rate. My ego just about left me walk up the hill but I got over it. The dog walked in every mud and water puddle along the way. He was covered in muck. My average pace was not to bad either. All in all a good days running.

Thanks, man. I have struggled since but my weight eventually balanced off, I think the running really helped. I am no longer trying to lose weight just trying to keep it off surprising struggle but current healthy eating is really working.
Nice relaxing 8 mile this morning. The dog seemed to enjoy it more than I did.
have patience with yourself. nobody ever got better overnight. you’ll get wherever you need to go in time. for now, remember that every day that you survive is a step forward, and you have survived many days. be proud of yourself.

Was not in mood for run today but it seemed to go fine but a bit slow once I got out.
My dog has a habit of running at the letter box and grabbing the letters aggressively. He grazed a woman's hand today - they reported it to the gard’s. I really hope it is not my last run with the dog. Feeling bumed.
Nice recovery run this morning. Just over 30 odd miles for the week, considered upping the mileage for next week but decided to listen to my body and advised my trainer I need a recovery week.Mood a bit better today thankfully. I think my dog enjoyed my time off more than I did by extra few miles and running during the day.
Had a nice run today - longest run with dog , I think he could of gone for another few miles no bother. Knocked just under 30 sec’s of my average mile compared to last week’s long run.
Mood a bit low today no clue why, might be the thoughts of going back to work - Making an effort to improve mood, listening to good music etc. might make up an avocado dessert I saw in my book later. I will fight my poor mood as I always do.
Looking forward to new training year. :)

Nice 4 mile run today the rain mostly held off, Only little bit of thunder. About minute faster than last weeks same run. Running at slower heart rate is paying off so far I really hope it continues. I have 10 mile run on Saturday hope that goes well. Will take the dog along with me to see how he gets along, the furthest I have gone with him is 6 miles.
Ignore Fastest pace above my watch went a bit funny at start :)

Getting ready for a run after a cup of coffee with coco powder in it and cheese omelette, listening to Frank Sinatra’s My Way - Mornings don’t get much better - Looking Forward to nice easy run.
