Dozens of children aged between seven and 12 hit in attack on Minab city
At least 51 girls have been killed in an air strike on an elementary school in southern Iran, local authorities said, as the United States and Israel ramps up attacks on the country. The attack on Saturday morning hit Shajareh Tayyebeh school in Minab city in the southern Hormozgan province. The victims were between seven and 12 years old, according to Iran's Tasnim and Fars news agencies. The air strike on the school caused many of those inside the building to become trapped under the rubble. There were 170 female students at the school at the time of the attack. So far, at least 45 people have also been reported wounded.
Were these children the revolutionary guards trump told to surrender or die? Is netanyahu going to say these dead seven-year-olds were the long arm of the ayatollah or some shit now?
Israel is bombing Iranian civilians and gleefully put out press release calling it a 'pre-emptive' attack while Iran has been negotiating for weeks. 'Pre-emptive' strikes don't exist in International law. International law doesn't exist either it seems. What exists is Israel, a made up terrorist limb of the cancerous American state and it feeds the capitalist appetite for blood and oil.

If you are a westerner celebrating Khamenei's death in my face you're getting insta-blocked. No one hates the man more than me. The "Islamic revolution" brought about the death penalty for queer men like me. It kicked out atheists, leftists, intellectuals like my mother and grandfather who had fought hard, taken up arms for a fairer Iran; it cannibalised that same rebellious youth that had overthrown the previous government and took over a movement that was not its own. The regime is corrupt, cruel and self-serving. But the complete, absolute impunity with which, without casus belli, openly just because "it's too good an opportunity not to take it", without even official war declaration, the US and Israel just waltz into any country they choose and kill anyone they choose (or arrest, as in Venezuela), and well, sometimes a "pre-emptive strike" might kill dozens of primary school girls --- this is not something to celebrate. It's a decaying, corpse-imperialism reduced to its most naked, short-sighted, violent world-wide bullying. A naked fist fucking the world to its pleasure. If you for a moment think anything justifies that, or that "it'll be for the best", you're not just naive, you're privileged and blind to the point it becomes indinstiguishable from evil.
NSW police in Australia just violently assaulted and arrested Muslim men as they were peacefully praying.
This happened after country-wide protests against the Israeli president Isaac Herzog's visit to Australia (today, Monday 9th February).
I got out minutes before the police turned this violent. The NSW premier needs to resign. Minnsâ Israel-backed police state canât be allowed to cause fear and division at every turn.
It's one thing knowing your government is complicit but its another thing seeing them selling their souls to the devil to line their pockets and attack civilians like this.

Greta Thunberg Arrested at a Protest Supporting Palestine Action Hunger Strikers
Key Highlights Greta Thunberg arrested for supporting Palestine Action hunger strikers in London. Thunberg held a sign reading âI support the Palestine Action prisoners. I oppose genocide.â City of London Police charged her with displaying an item in support of proscribed organization, contrary to Section 13 of the Terrorism Act 2000. Palestinian activists claim they targeted Aspen Insurance dueâŚ
That's exactly what's supposed to happen. People wish they could be activists, but they can't because they have to work in order to survive, so they make sure their children can be the activists.
Also, you're absolutely right that this is what privilege looks like. But for the 1,000,012th time, the word "privilege" is not an insult. Having privilege doesn't automatically make you a bad person, but it does make you more likely to have opportunities to be a bad person. It's also possible to use your privilege for good.
Would you prefer that she instead use her wealth to buy an excess of housing in order to profit and hoard more wealth? How exactly would that be the morally superior choice?
Reporter: Why do you think so many countriesâ governments around the world are just ignoring whatâs happening in Gaza?
Greta Thunberg: Because of racism, thatâs the simple answer, I would say. Racism, and basically desperately trying to defend a deadly, destructive system that systematically maximizes short term economic profit and geopolitical power over the well being of humans and the planet. Right now, it is morally difficult to defend that â it is impossibleâ but theyâre desperately trying which is âŚ. absurd is not the word, but there are no words to describe it.

If you have a crunchyroll subscription and you support Palestine, please cancel your subscription on the upcoming October 7th to boycott this decision. A massive Israeli boycott on the anniversary of that day would send a very strong message. Not just crunchyroll either, if you have subscriptions for any other company that enables and supports Israel, October 7th is the day to cancel all of those. Please participate and spread the word.
as someone who steals my friends account, i wanna also add that the new subtitle software is ass. overlapping dialogue is incomprehensible, and there's no translation for text on screen. isreali can't do anything right
since mrs, ms, and mr are all descended from the latin word magister, i propose the gender neutral version should be mg, short for "mage"
some people think this is a shitpost so i want to clarify that i am dead fucking serious. make mage the official gender neutral honorific NOW. i want it on my passport. i want it on my bank account. i want doctors and judges to use it for me. i don't care if it sounds a little silly. people thought "missus" sounded crass at first. call me mg.
benefits of mg:
easy to pronounce, even for children (though kids 4 & younger may pronounce it more like "mayd" or "maygh")
ONE SYLLABLE!!! ("individual" is too goddamn LONG.) you have to be able to say it quickly and casually
ends in a soft vowel sound, so it'll flow right into the next word ("ind" halts the whole sentence)
fits neatly into the existing structure as a relative of master/mistress that can be abbreviated down to an m and one other letter
distinct enough that it can't be mistaken for either gendered term (if you call me mix I'll kill you. it sounds like miss with extra steps)
wizard.
drawbacks:
there aren't any
yes, i know about milligrams and magnesium. i don't give a shit. ms can also mean microsoft. who cares.
I had to find this from somewhere and reblog it again because I work at a high school summer camp and told the kids to call me Mg. Day during our first day programming today.
They went NUTS for it! Not only did they love it, but there was an immediate click in understanding about they/them pronouns *from the entire cohort* that I havenât experienced in 3 years of programming.
And linking it back to the root words Mister and Missus as OP so wonderfully provided helped establish that using they/them or neopronouns isnât just playing around or âMiss but differentâ the way it can be with Mx. I used to try to go by Teacher Day because I was still getting she/herâd all the time but that also came with the problems of the students only being able to see me in the role of Teacher and being intimidated by the educational institution and their grades (I donât even work for the school Iâm external staff I donât even have WiFi access). And Iâd still get she/herâd all the time.
As soon as I introduced Magister they saw that a nonbinary person could be an Adult with a *societal* role outside the binary. It was immediately visible in their ecstatic faces. And I didnât get misgendered today.
The only downside is Iâm gonna have to practice my card tricks because I did promise I could do magic!

IEDs disguised as childrenâs toys and canned food have been reportedly found by civilians returning to their destroyed homes in northern Gaza. The devices have reportedly been found among the rubble of civilian homes, suggesting that they were deliberately placed. Pictures of an example were provided, showing a hollowed out stuffed animal with a crudely constructed IED hidden inside. The explosive charge appears to be simply a block of plastic explosive with a detonator inserted. The trigger mechanism is not clear but the amount of wiring and apparent presence of a circuit board may indicate that the device can be remotely detonated. The plastic explosive charge is marked with a number â1â. This likely serves to identify the device for purposes of mapping and individual detonation.
Although earlier claims of âfood can bombsâ have been disputed, the visually confirmed example shown above is undeniably a disguised IED. It cannot be confirmed with certainty who placed the IED, but it is not consistent with the standard operating procedure of any Palestinian resistance group to target Palestinian civilians.
Israeli forces have been known to use concealed IEDs in the past such as pager bombs, so it is not unreasonable to assume that these are Israeli IEDs until proven otherwise.
THIS IS ON THE GROUND NEWS FROM GAZA. PLEASE BOOST THIS POST.
