Wip : Attewater Manor

Piece by piece, Attewater Manor is beginning to come together. Beyond its traditional rooms and quiet courtyards, the house hides a number of forgotten spaces - concealed chambers that, perhaps, have not been opened for centuries.

The estate itself has now been relocated from Crumble Isle to Windslar, where it feels far more at home within the landscape and the surrounding atmosphere.

There is still much to be done. Bedrooms, public rooms, and the lower ground floor all await their final form. At first glance, the manor appears rather compact - but appearance can be deceiving. Behind its ancient walls lies a house far larger , older, and more layered than one might expect.

Set gently at the water's edge, the house reveals only part of itself at first glance. Across the narrow bridge, a restrained facade welcomes its guests - composed, timeless, and quietly assured.

Finished build :

A gift of the Crown, bestowed for distinguished service by Queen Elizabeth I upon the first Earl Rivers, Ashbourne Park was established in the year 1586. What began as a symbol of royal favor has since become a testament to endurance, legacy, and quiet resilience.

Though the Rivers family was, over time, forced to part with much of their surrounding lands, they held firmly to what mattered most -the House itself. Through centuries of change, Ashbourne Park has remained in their possession, continuously inhabited by the family for generations, each leaving their mark while preserving its soul.

The journey now turns inward.

Ashbourne Park

Step inside Ashbourne Park and discover interiors that reflect both heritage and refined comfort. Rooted in its Elizabethan origins, the manor has evolved gracefully over time, blending historical character with timeless elegance.

The grand salons and intimate living spaces have been designed to balance formality with comfort, making the house equally suited for distinguished gatherings and quiet family life. Soft textiles, elegant furnishings, and subtle decorative accents enhance the sense of authenticity, ensuring that every corner feels both lived-in and enduring.

Still a work in progress, Ashbourne Park continues to take shape with each carefully placed ddetail, bringing its history and future to life.

Wip - Part One: Exterior

Ashbourne Park

Ashbourne Park is an Elizabethan manor house at its core, thoughtfully and gracefully expanded over the centuries into the distinguished estate it is today. Its architecture reflects a harmonious blend of history and refinement, preserving the charm of its origins while embracing the elegance of later additions.

With 9 bedrooms - five located in the main wing for the family and four in the guest wing - alongside 6 bathrooms, the manor offers ample space for a large household or for a couple who delights in entertaining guests. Surrounded by timeless beauty and quiet grandeur, Ashbourne Park stands as a testament of heritage, comfort, and enduring sophistication.

Wip: Alvescot Manor

Alvescot Manor tells a story of lost grandeur. Once a powerful aristocratic seat, it now stands as an empty shell. The house has withstood the test of time, but the Family to whom it once belonged has not.

The Couch House has been lovingly transformed and offers a first residence for those willing to return Alvescot manor to its former glory.

The Manor itself will remain an empty shell by design. Only the Gardens and the Couch House will be completed, allowing everyone to bring their own vision and style to the estate. As a result, it will not be as CC-heavy as my other Builds.

Briarwood Manor - Progress Update

There's something quietly satisfying about watching a house come to life, room by room.

The ground floor is now taking shape - the entrance hall has settled into its role, the dining room feels warm and lived-in, and Briarwood finally has a proper kitchen. A small service wing has begun to form, with its own courtyard and kitchen garden

Upstairs still waits. Stories not yet placed, rooms not yet claimed.

But it feels like Briarwood is no longer just a structure - its becoming a home.

Something big is coming <3

Cliffton Hall - a Tudor estate that has belonged to the Howard family since the very beginning - may no longer be the grand residence it once was. Originally extended in an F-shaped layout, complete with its own service wing, only the Elizabethan core remains today. The service wing was lost to a fire after a lightning strike.

And yet, it has never lost its charakter. It may change - but its origin remain.

So far, 12 out of 42 rooms are finished :D

But houses like this are never built overnight.

The oldest estate in Henford. Once a humble farmstead, it was gradually expanded over generations into the Manor it is today. Lovingly maintained and carefully preserved, Bagley House remains a quiet reminder of Henford's long rural history and the Families who shaped it.
