Baked Camembert

Food does not have to be complicated to be delicious. Sometimes the simplest of things can lend to a meal fit for a King! This warm gooey baked Camembert will leave you licking your fingers and possibly even licking your plate!

Ingredients: 1 whole Camembert cheese 6 to 8 slices of Prosciutto 3 tbsp of Olive Oil 2 Sage leaves

Method: Preheat the oven to 325 degrees (F). Remove the Camembert from it’s packaging and gently wrap it with the strips of prosciutto while placing a sage leaf in between the cured meat layers on each side. Brush the wheel with Olive Oil and place on a baking sheet. Bake in the oven for 18 minutes. (The center of the cheese will rise slightly when ready.) Serve with a fresh baguette and marmalade or apple jelly.
