As someone who’s familiar with entirely too many branches through entirely too many friends and family, including my partner, recruiters are authorized to say literally any fucking thing they think will make you sign on that line. Something that I first applied to working with children, and have applied in a limited form to working with adults: you don't need to tell someone when they read your instructions wrong. Sometimes it's enough to point out what they did right and then whatever they didn't do? You ask them to do it in more precise words, and you make it sound like it's a new request. If I say "I need you to bring me a first aid kit and an accident report" and you bring me just a first aid kit, it's so much more efficient to say "thanks now can you bring me an accident report" than "I asked you to bring an accident report why didn't you bring me one".

I just wanna say also that, especially as an atheist, I love that Wake Up Dead Man was not Christian versus atheist. It was weaponizer of power Christian versus faith and kindness Christian.

Not to get on my soap box but I have a lot more in common with a Christian of my own values than a fellow atheist without. I really appreciate this. There's a comic as well where someone talks about "turning into a deer" which is what their mental illness feels like and I appreciate that this sentiment of turning into an animal is expressed by multiple people (each in their own unique ways) because it helps make us all feel less alone. And everyone expressed that experience differently and explores it without even realizing idk man I just appreciate this
