Why can it not be cold and foggy with intermittent thunderstorms and heavy rains in between all the time?

I know it's an unpopular opinion but I fucking hate summers. Why isn't it fall and then winter already?

I know I'm whining but I cannot take the heat no more. I feel like doing nothing in this weather. I miss the chilly winds and winter rain and snow. I miss bundling up in blankets, drinking something hot while reading a book.

I wish I could go into a slumber during this season and be woken up when the icy wind starts blowing and we need sweaters and hoodies and blankets.

have you ever dnf-ed a final book in a trilogy, at the 170 pages mark, with only about 140 pages left to go, because you just did. not. care anymore and you’re too old to waste time on books you’re not enjoying?

Oh yeah! I never did before but I found that if I pushed past those last hundred or so pages that it would take FOREVER, put me in a pissy mood, and kickstart a bad slump. So…yeah, DNF and keep it moving!

I still have to learn how to DNF. I just have to know what will happen. First time I DNFed book was in January and I was okay with that. Maybe because it was a chick lit :D

I agree with people who say that you should move on if you don’t like the book. There is to little time to waste on books we don’t like <3
