confessing that the mind flayer is and always has been my favourite character I the entirety of the show from the moment it was introduced
Duffers did them dirty in the finale 1000%
She is so much better as a puppet master for the abyss/upside down than Vecna because of the idea of human error. It is without such problems as emotion, and I was really hoping they would do more with the idea that the Mind Flayer can bring people into a hive mind or take them out of it.
Instead we got a fucking Kaiju :[

My redesign of the flesh-flayer
I wanted to redesign it, and make it very gooey and gross(I also was inspired by the bear from annihilation, especially the screaming roar part) I thought it would've taken a lot longer than it actually did, but hey, it's still very detailed so it's still a win. This thing will be a nightmare to animate— if I ever do animate this thing *shudders*
