I drew this the other day and finally remembered to sign it. God, I am so forgetful.

I was really proud of myself for figuring out how to make it so that I could change the background colour and not have to do the shading again for like a minute, but then I was just like eh.

So, I'm just taking this opportunity to rant about whatever. Don't listen to me, I'm just bored.

I have started Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation(yay!) and am on the fourth book currently, and I am very much enjoying it. Due to some spoilers, I know what's going to happen later(e.g., spoiler alert if you count it). It's not like I'm not going to read that part, I'm perfectly fine with reading it since I'm not a bit pure anyway, just, well, yeah.

I have also started Scum Villain! I know, MXTX is taking over my already trashy life. I am on book three currently and am reading as fast as I can. Honestly. One of my straight friends said that I should start reading, you know, real books? I respect their devotion to books and Christianity and whatnot, but I only have a few more books left, so it's no judging for them.

A Thousand Lights

After reading TGCF Book 8 for, like, the seventy-sixth time(I did cry each time, mind you), I decided that the scene of three thousand lights would be pretty for a phone background, and so I did this:

I put it on my phone, but since the two aren't really visible at the bottom of the drawing, for others it's just a bunch of lanterns with a tree. Makes it convenient for judgey, homophobic people asking what the hell is on my phone. I just say it's a homemade lantern scene I drew on Shangyuan(lie, by the way. I do celebrate Shangyuan but I drew this like a month ago)

I keep forgetting to put a watermark on my drawings! Very annoying, but I have nobody to blame except for myself. Also, I don't enjoy putting signatures on things. I don't enjoy scribbling in particular. My handwriting is crap, especially when it's supposed to be unreadable. I always make it spell out my name clearly as day instead of a mindless scribble.

I decided to draw something cute and wholesome this time! Since Christmas(I'm atheist but Christmas is cool) and Hannukah and New Year's and whatnot are coming up, I decided to do something holiday-themed.

UPDATE: Look, when I say requests are welcome I mean I'm dying of boredom and I need help. Anything MXTX is great, but neither Japan nor its lovely anime/manga has been forgotten. I'm just a bit obsessed with Chinese danmei right now. Please give me something that will keep me alive a bit longer, I don't want to die alone even if that fact has already been established.

Update: I'm starting Mo Dao Zu Shi! I've watched the first season of the donghua already, but so far, it's a great piece of homosexual literature. I have to say, I have never read another book that just gay-up says the main character is gay on page twenty, nor have I read another book in which the main couple sleeps together as early as chapter four. Jesus. Nonetheless, it's great.

Also, I bought the special edition of TGCF book 8, and I read it. Eight times and counting. I cried each time. Good times.

Beefleaf, or 🍖🍃 in emojispeak, is one of my favourite ships in the TGCF universe, next to Hualian of course, since it's unprecedented. It might also rank in the top five for the whole MXTX universe, although I've only ever read Heaven Official's in depth. The rest—well, I've had an overdose of the fandom. So yeah, spoilers. Fun.

Due to certain circumstances that can be viewed as either positive or negative, I have not died yet. Alas. I have been spending my Thanksgiving break wrestling with digital drawing apps and experimenting with them.

Truth be told, I'm not good with computers. I literally just had my iPad fixed last week. I like traditional drawing, but I do it digitally sometimes just because it looks smooth. And coloured, because I don't particularly like colouring.

So here: see the hard work I put in throughout a span of five days, dealing with technical issues. (shame season 2 of the donghua got delayed)

White-Clothed Calamity

I just want to get this straight: I hate Bai Wuxiang. I'm aware that people have other opinions, and I can respect them, but I'm just saying. In my opinion, Bai Wuxiang is a bitch and he can go to hell for the third(?) time.

Anyway, enough preaching. You know, the other day I read all the way up to the White-Clothed Calamity Arc, and I just gay-up stood there and pounded my fist on the table in anger. One of my friends looked at me from across the room like I'd just declared I wanted to kill myself. (Which I didn't, and I don't.) I was ready to rage quit.

I feel like I have to take a thirty-minute cool down after each chapter so I can calmly read on. I mean, it's a good book, Heaven Official's Blessing, but sometimes I just can't.

Unfortunately, BWX's hair is literally the most satisfying hairstyle I have ever drawn. Like, the white streak-

Update: I made five copies of this work: I kept the original one, and then proceeded to 1) Put one through the paper shredder; 2) Burn one in my backyard firepit; 3) Stab one a hundred times with a kitchen knife; 4) Toss one into my compost bin and leave him to rot; and 5) Cut one neatly into little squares and then put them into my pencil shavings/eraser bits box. No judgment there.

I'm not new to Tumblr, but I've never made a blog before. Is this how you do it?

Anyway, I'm called Mindless Depression Excluding Death, or just Mindless Depression I suppose. Mindless? Yes. Depressed? Most likely. Dead? Almost.

I am an egoist, and I wanted the whole world to know about the boredom that led to this. No, I have no regrets. Maybe.
