And with this meeting, it can feel like a fairy tale first meeting and relationship. They could most likely be a guiding light for you during this period, like a Prince Charming situation (or Princess).
And while they seem like a guide for you in the darkness, what you may not know is that they could be going through this period of feeling lost as well. So in a way, you could be like a guide for them as well, both mutually lighting the way for each other and bringing your lives back on track. And with meeting each other, it can be potentially healing for the both of you, especially if any previous relationships (be it romantic or platonic) didn’t end well, that could also cause this chaotic period in your life.
And as mentioned before, it can feel like a fair tale relationship, everything goes perfectly at the start, minimal quarrels, the perfect honeymoon phase, a perfect romanticised relationship. But all fairy tales come with their own fair share of darkness, of villains and challenges that stand in the way of the fairy tale couple. Like Gaston in Beauty and the Beast or The Evil Stepmother in Snow White and Cinderella. There will be ups and downs in this relationship that can challenge and test the depth of your relationship with each other. The illusion of the once perfect relationship will start to crack and reveal its shadows, its dark side. You may feel impatient of waiting for the right time to come, perhaps due to societal pressure of finding someone to settle down with, traditions or even romanticised relationships that you see around you. And whatever the reason is, you may feel a little frustrated with how your love life could feel stagnant, relationships not manifesting the way you want it to. And that’s when you take action to find an active relationship, putting yourself out there and practically announcing that you’re looking for a relationship. So things like online dating or going to social clubs, parties and just meeting new people in general could help you find your future spouse.
And as you take action, the gears start turning as the once previous stagnant love life of yours would start up again. Meeting new people, going on first dates and just overall feeling the vibes. It may not be easy, always going on first dates and all that, some people have good vibes but you just don’t see the future with them or some with just straight red flags. It’s basically a hit or miss, but patience and perseverance is key to finding your future spouse.
Don’t force yourself to settle if you feel that both you and the other party don’t click, it would just lead to unnecessary hurt and a waste of energy for both of you down the future. Don’t force growth where you don’t see potential. But instead, it’s ok to go your separate ways and try again. As long as you don’t give up, you will get closer to your goal of a healthy love life. And it’s ok to take a break as well to give yourself time to rest and recharge before jumping back into the dating scene.
