little dreamer/lincoln blurb I wrote while I was half asleep and donāt feel like editing enjoy
dreamer doesnāt even register falling asleep.
one moment they were sitting in front of their laptop struggling to pick a research paper topic (because unfortunately magic school is still school), the next they were in their dreamscape.
nothing particularly intricate today, their mind mimicking their surroundings in the waking world almost perfectly.
the most obvious change was lincoln. instead of him sitting on the carpet, he was now joining them on the couch, arms wrapped comfortably around the dreamwalkers waist and occasionally trailing his hands up and down their sides.
dreamer hadnāt stopped thinking about how it felt when he caught them earlier. how his hands felt on their body, holding them close and steadying them. how soft his voice was when he said āI got youā. how close their faces were for that split secondā¦
just normal friend stuff right?
friends totally subconsciously dream about the other holding them close and running hands over their body while slowly kissing up their neck right?
dreamer squirmed as dream-lincoln placed a kiss over a mole on the base of their neck, then on their pulse point, and one more on their cheek before leaning in close and whispering in their ear
āany luck on that paper yet?ā
dreamer jumped awake, back to the real world.
āwhoa are you okay?ā real world lincoln questioned from his place on the carpet.
dreamer felt their face flush, visions from their dream fading. āoh uhā¦ yeahā¦sorry I guess I fell asleep for a second there.. did you say something?ā
ājust asking if you had any luck with that paper yet. did you dream of any good topics?ā the teasing tone of his voice made their heart rate go up.
