Hidden Gemz
Lately, I’ve stumbled upon some really awesome e-shops that I’d love to share with you all! Some of which are listed, I have known about for quite some time, while others I have just discovered!
1. www.dollskill.com
Dollskill is an awesome online site that offers a wide variety of stuff. The site carries a bunch of in-house brands that are extremely edgy and punk like. On the otherhand, Dollskill carries brands such as For Love and Lemons and Wildfox. If you’re on the hunt for crazy platform shoes or dope accessories, you’ve found your match!
2. shop.thecobrasnake.com
The Cobra Shop is actually located in LA, California, but is also extremely accessible for online shoppers. Cobra Shop carries vintage tees from various brands, such as Champion, Calvin Klein, or even Harley Davidson. If you’re a vintage shopper this is the perfect place for you!
3. www.blackdope.co.uk
I’ve always been super intrigued by online shops from other countries. StreetStyle brand blackdope has the greatest hoodies, jackets, coats, tees.. you name it. The design logos will not disappoint!
StreetStyle
StreetStyle has been a trend I’ve felt extremely infatuated by for quite some time now. Whether it be that of Vetements or Off-White, I’m constantly finding ways to incorporate these trends into my own personal wardrobe without necessarily paying the price. I have found fence fishnets to be such a staple item in my wardrobe. Worn under a mini skirt, ripped jeans, or simply an oversized sweatshirt- they are the perfect accessory. StreetStyle to me serves as the perfect opportunity for an individual to best express themselves. For example, patching on denim jackets or jeans is an easy DIY and the perfect touch to an edgy outfit.
Our Favorite ‘Week’
Ladies and gents.. it’s that time! Fashion week is here and has been alive and well. I’ve been absolutely swooning over recent collections of Versus Versace and Saint Laurent.
Versus Versace Fall RTW 2017 collection has exceeded every expectation of mine and more... Whether it be oversized quilted coats, distressed patterns, or tight pants with bold silver zipper detailing, this collection screams edge, sexy, and overall Versace. Not to mention, the touch of bold dramatic eyeliners set the tone even more.
Up Next, I’m callin one of my very favorite designers, Saint Laurent. This Fall RTW 2017 collection play the utmost with leather pleating, shearlings, and a whole lot of sweater layering. Vaccarello’s idea was to mix up versions of “clothes girls want to wear every day, and then give them a kind of brute romanticism, a tender toughness.” (Vogue) I can not get enough of this extreme leather draping, and am really looking forward how the trend effects the future of the fashion industry.
