Another salty idea based on the general inconsistency in Season 4:
The ladybug and cat miraculouses actually do have a tie-in with destiny and - due to their capabilities to do essentially anything with a wish - have the ability to adjust reality to what suits them. This causes an unnatural pull between whoever has those miraculouses, and things that they might remember one way might actually be another.
Luka and Marinette realize this (could be post-âLuka Knowsâ) when her memories donât line up exactly with his (example: he remembers them mutually leaning in for the kiss, she remembers using the akuma-caused shaking as an excuse to leave), which scares her. Wanting to figure out the reason behind it, as well as what her true feelings really are (Lukanette Endgame, of course), they put their heads together to discover the truth and tell fate to âshove itâ once and for all.

Does anyone remember the fic where marinette becomes an actor and stars in a few shows and movies ( i think one of the shows was vampire diaries related, but was just a detail not the whole story).
I really liked the story but I have had no luck tracking it down but i originally found it here on tiktok.

I was reading @miraculous-anna opposite fic. And the part where Lila is in the bakery and says âI Cant afford to mess this upâ (Iâm writing in a rush so this is just gonna be the gist of it.
Anyway, what about a Lila redemption fic where sheâs Atually stuck under the thumb of Gabriel/hawk moth and has to target marinette. Since Gabriel suspects her being ladybug. And Lila trying to not harm marinette or take aways the earings (cool concept Iâd she was actually a decendant of volpina or knew about marinette being lady bug. Even being involved with the order)
She keeps on trying to get her expelled, so she ends up trying to get a moment alone in the bathroom which backfires because an akuma is near and she doesnât know if hawkmoth is listening so she decides to threaten marinette as a cover. At the end sheâs soon able to clear things up and ends up becoming some kind of undercover agent (CAnt figure out the phrase I actually want to use) for the team and she helps take down hawkmoth.

And you know, itâs a bakery. They have free samples, dazzling displays, everything looks amazing, and the prices are so great that some of the new patrons can hardly believe it.

Pedophilia is bad should not be a radical statement.
No really, please reblog this if you can, because this site in general, but fandom spaces especially bad for this, to the point where people are genuinely afraid of harassment they may face for saying âPedophilia is a bad thing and you probably should not encourage itâ or for calling it what it is. Fandom spaces are also especially bad for screaming about how itâs âjust fictionâ when we know damn well that fiction impacts reality.
In case anyone feels like continuing to argue this post, I have multiple real actual pedophiles telling me to âdeal withâ their attraction to children and being allowed to produce content with it for said children to read so like, this is a serious problem.
I mean you can find them in the notes. Real pedoâs are comfortable in fandom spaces because they know yâall will defend them now with âbut thatâs just fictional, they would never do it in real life!!â

AU set before the events of Syren:

During an akuma battle, Master Fu happens to be grocery shopping or running errands when the Akuma first shows up, and is caught up in the battle, swept up in the crowd as civilians flee, screaming and in terror, from the supervillain.Â
Fu is not as young as he used to be, and while he can ride a bike for miles with no issue, apparently running is a different matter entirely, and before he knows it his legs are aching and he is out of breath within two blocks of the attack as the crowd around him pushes and shoves, and it is all he can do to avoid being trampled as Wayzz is frantically worried for his safety from the pocket of his coat.Â
Chat Noir arrives on the scene first, bounding out of an alleyway nearby, and Fu is relieved that one of his chosen has arrived to protect the civilians and defeat the akuma.Â
After all, Adrien Agreste is a smart boy, he would know how to defeat an akuma by now so that Ladybug can purify the tainted item, right? Or, failing to fight the akuma, he would focus on getting the akuma contained to avoid harm to civilians, right?
Only, when Chat Noir lands on the scene, he⊠doesnât fight. Not properly.
No, for some reason, Chat Noir seems content to mock and taunt the Akuma, dancing around the rooftops and occasionally batting at the akuma with his baton while quipping puns and jokes instead of moving in and dealing damage the way a heavy hitter like the Black Cat Holder is supposed to.
Fu watches Adrien Agreste spar with the akuma for a few minutes, huddled with the other defenseless civilians in a scorched shop as loud cat puns and flat jokes echo around the destroyed alleyway. Chat Noirâs fighting style seems to be exclusively focused on using his baton as a⊠sword? Instead of pairing it up with his claws for close range attacks.
Now, every wielder has their own unique style of fighting, but it seems like Chat Noir only uses his claws for his last-resort power of Cataclysm.Â
âThis is all my fault, I never should have been a coward! I should have stepped up, been a proper instructor and teacher from the first day! This is all so wrong, this is my fault, no wonder they have not defeated Hawkmoth yet, itâs because I have failed as a teacher and left them on their own to flounder!â
Convinced that Chat Noirâs behavior is due to Fuâs lack of teaching, Master Fu is considering finding a place so that he can attempt the transformation to help out his floundering fledgling whenâÂ
Ladybug arrives on the scene.Â
Swinging in over the rooftops, Ladybug launches herself into battle, halting the Akuma in its tracks as it sends Chat Noir flying with a swat after the boy tried to bat at it with his baton once again.Â
Chat Noir goes flying through the air, andâŠÂ
Instead of adjusting his angle to land cleanly, cries out for Ladybug, forcing her to release the Akuma and instead focus on âsavingâ her partner from hitting the ground, slinging her weapon out to create a net for him to land âsafelyâ inâŠÂ
As though a tumble like that would have actually hurt him, even if he didnât land on his feet?
Mystified and even more concerned, Fu wonders if perhaps the Black Cat Miraculous was damaged at some point since he granted it to the young Agreste, and that that is why Adrien does not fight at close quarters the way his suit is designed for, why Marinette Dupain-Cheng is constantly having to divert her attention away from the battle to engage with 'rescuingâ her partnerâ perhaps Adrienâs is not protected by his suit like he should be when he is transformed?
But even as Fu is fighting to extract himself from the crowd, even as he hobbles with aching knees to find a spot hidden enough that he can transform, he still keeps a concerned eye on the battle, and the pit in his stomach that is full of guilt begins to fill with a deeper dread.
He watches the way Chat Noir spends the battle flirting with Ladybug, and hears her ever-more adamant exclamations begging him to focus on the fight and leave her alone. He watches with wide eyes, taken aback, as Chat Noir is 'rescuedâ once again and swoops in to kiss Ladybug on the cheek, only failing to do so when she pushes him away, even as the Akuma is rampaging down the street, all Adrien Agreste can focus on is asking Marinette Dupain-Cheng out on a date.
Stumbling into a house that is nothing but four barely-standing walls, Fu looks at Wayzz, nearly crying as he gasps out, âOh Wayzz, I have made a terrible mistake, more than one. I should never have left them on their own, and I should never have given them only a single test. Even if there is something damaged with the Black Cat Miraculous, it would not effect Adrienâs behavior; my friend, I chose wrong. Please, let this work, so that I can correct my mistakes.â

Hardware Upgrades and Free Will
Just a little possibility I thought up based on the kwamisâ plight and my own frustration at how impractical and anachronistic some of the miraculous jewels are.
In one of Marinetteâs catastrophizing episodes she starts getting really worried about what would happen if she was trapped by an akuma again like with Party Crasher, now that Fu isnât around to deploy the Monkey Miraculous in case of dire emergency.
The obvious answer is to find someone to permanently hold the monkey and be ready to join the fight only in cases where Ladybug has been compromised (and maybe this gives her the idea to have her new line up of âtemporaryâ heroes all hold onto their miraculouses and only come to fight when she calls them, to avoid the eventuality of Hawkmoth attempting to follow her back to her house), but thereâs a problem - the monkey miraculous takes the form of a headband, and only long haired people can get away with wearing one without drawing attention to themselves, and even they canât wear the same big headband every day without anyone noticing.
Luckily, there are spells to make new objects suitable to house a miraculous and transfer the kwami from one to another (after all, thereâs no way the rabbit and horse miraculouses have been a pocket watch and sunglasses since ancient China), so Marinette sets to work making a more inconspicuous piece of jewelry that Xuppu would like. Then she sets about applying all the required spells - ones that will allow the kwami to bond to the object and appear on the physical plain, something to make the object nearly indestructible, a spell to disguise the object when itâs not in use, and⊠a spell to control the kwami?!?
Marinette is distressed to learn the kwami are forced to follow orders from the wearer of their miraculous. She absolutely does not want to cast a slavery spell, and asks the kwami why itâs even necessary. They tell her that the original mages who created the miraculouses claimed it was necessary to allow the transformation sequence - the holder has to be able to order the kwami to fuse with the miraculous and turn them into a superhero.
Marinette says fuck that, and in typical Marinette fashion throws herself into writing a replacement spell that triggers the transformation when both the holder and their kwami say the transformation phrase. She manages to put something together and proceeds to test it out of one of the less used miraculous since she canât risk miraculous ladybug being unusable if she gets something wrong on the first try (Pollen and Ziggy are the most vocal volunteers, since their current miraculous are also inconvenient for a large portion of people). Itâs a rousing success, and soon the entire contents of the miracle box is replaced with Marinette Dupain-Cheng originals and all the kwami inside have free will, with Marinette handing out a couple of the ones sheâs finished with to new holders who can be backups in case of emergency.
Finally, the only miraculouses left to fix are the ones NOT in her possession. (If this is after the NY special, then she definitely calls up Jess to visit Paris and get the Eagle miraculous fixed, with the Guardian of the American Miracle box coming along for the ride - which could be a good or bad thing.) Sheâll have to wait to free Nooroo and Duusu until they defeat Hawkmoth, but she eagerly goes to Chat Noir to retrieve his ring so she can free Plagg.
What she doesnât know is that Adrien was fully aware that he could force Plagg to do things he didnât want to, and had no problem with it. The new spell would be very inconvenient for Adrien, since Plagg would likely outright refuse to transform him for anything other than akuma attacks, and he knows the black cat kwami would tell Ladybug A LOT of damning things about Adrien the second he was tethered to a miraculous that didnât force him to be a slave.
Marinette doesnât understand why Chat Noir lashes out at her, refusing to give her the ring, accusing her of trying to steal it from him, and briefly attacking her before running off. Unfortunately for Adrien, he didnât stay around long enough to hear ALL the changes that Marinette had made to the new miraculouses. Because while the kwami still canât reveal the names of current or still living past holders, both deceased holders and currently living abusive holders are fair game (done with the idea of having Nooroo and Duusu testify against Hawkmoth and Mayura when theyâre finally found). Now that Tikki knows Adrien must be abusing Plagg, thereâs nothing to stop her from telling Marinette the identity of âMister Bugâ.
