I keep seeing people on Youtube and Reddit crying about how "Ladybug and Chat Noir used to be a duo!"

They're... still a duo? He's the only other one that is allowed to show up without being called on, has been there since the start, and apparently has some thing where Ladybug becomes unbalanced without him or something? Because of creation/destruction idfk.

Do these people want Ladybug to continue suffering with her useless ass partner so he can comfort her when she has more panic attacks or smthn

In my mind, Regina loves watching Cady nerding out about things that she likes even though she doesn't understand most things coming out of Cady's mouth. So, Regina would keep track of things that Cady is interested in or would be interested in and bring those topics up occasionally. Then, Cady gets all excited and giddy that Regina wants to hear about those while Regina is just observing how Cady's eyes light up with excitement, how she slightly bounces up and down as if she can't control all the energy inside her, and how Cady makes eye contact with Regina to make sure she's following what she's saying

That wasn't a game. You can clearly see it in his expression and body language. Jax would, without remorse, kill ragatha and shoot her corpse to a bloody pump because she said something triggering. He's the kind of man who would physically, lethally harm women because they reminded him of his own self-hatred. His villain speech at the end of episode 6 was fake not because he's secretly kind deep down, but because he's far more pathetic than he want to admit. He doesn't hurt people out of amusement but to protect his own ego. I genuinely hope this behavior get brought up again instead of the show going "well, ragatha and gangle are happy now so it's okay if pomni cozy up to jax and become his security blanket".

I ended up getting this ending on Dispatch. The image is a screenshot of a video, but rest assured I did get this ending myself.

Apparently I 'neglected' Invisigal because I didn't like that she was sexually harassing Robert and told her off for it every chance I got. I sent her on missions when it was needed, I did not 'neglect' her in any way. The only time I couldn't send her on a mission was when she willingly fucked off on her own accord.

Bringing this back to the topic of my blog - Invisigal literally reminds me of AdriChat. When Ladybug pushes him away for his unwanted advances the fandom (and show) says shes 'neglecting' him. When AdriChat makes the conscious decision not to show up to work (Kuro Neko) the fandom says she's the one who 'neglected' him so of COURSE he wouldn't want to show up!

The fandom also frequently says AdriChat has every reason to become a villain because of his 'neglect' from Ladybug.

If you want to be a better person then you're going to have to earn it. If you have to rely on someone else's approval and attention just so you don't turn evil then you were never good in the first place.

Yes, it's a game about helping people get better and become heroes when they were villains before, and every other character does that wonderfully, Visi fails at getting better every single step of the way, and somehow that's Robert's (the player's) fault?

i believe gangle is a victim of sexual harassment but the writers don’t want to acknowledge that

i first started thinking this when she talks to zooble in episode 6

“Gangle: It's Jax, though. He probably wants revenge. And he's gonna make it painful, and-

Zooble: (Softly) Hey, you deserve better than thinking about him when he's not even here. You're a human. (They sit down next to her.) You're not his toy.

Gangle: It sometimes doesn't feel that way.”

i know this probably is supposed to imply physical abuse but the line about being a “toy” just sticks out since toys are often an allusion to sexual assault, a toy can’t consent, a toy is an object, the abuser can play as rough as they want

jax also sexually blackmails her with the jar and her drawings, these are played off as a gag but knowing her relationship with him the writers could have tried to imply jax hurting gangle emotionally

but i know they wouldn’t have even dared to make jax into a sexual abuser because that’s too evil! that's one of the bad bad crimes that can’t be excused so we couldn’t possibly imply that!

and dare i say the fact goose didn’t want to explore the idea of jax doing an irredeemable action is indicative of her own misogyny and obsession with torturing the women she creates

i just really want one of jax’s actions to be taken seriously and not shoved under the rug since he has trauma

What else could Pomni have done?

I’ve seen this argument that because Jax had already abstracted there was no point in Pomni holding him accountable now. That she was offering him comfort in his last moments.

Here is my issue with that argument. It wasn’t about Jax’s accountability. It was about Pomni’s safety. This was someone who just assaulted her. She should have maintained safe boundaries with him.

And if the writers wanted to show it as a moment of radical grace on Pomni’s part, they shouldn’t have erased Jax’s actions. Pomni should have been visibly terrified or angry or uncomfortable, but still deciding to extend grace.

Instead she is just sad she couldn’t save him, and I’m sorry I will never think that is a good message.
