Random Aesthetics - CAS Challenge

Hey everybody, I haven't made a post in a bit, so I decided to just make a quick and fun post doing my first-ever Random Aesthetic CAS Challenge! This was inspired by the amazing @itsqwertyluvs! I adore watching their YouTube videos and I highly suggest checking out their content❣️❣️❣️

I decided the first set of townies for this CAS challenge would be the Welcome Wagon in Willow Creek when I played the Sims 4 for the first time ever! I made my own Wheel Picker with similar aesthetics to itsqwertyluvs and added some random ones. Here we have:

So for my first post I decided to make a review of the turn A Gundam. I really really like this suit, it’s super unique and it has a really good feel and is nothing like anything I’ve built before. For a 2007 kit this is so impressive, generally I don’t like to work with abs plastic but it didn’t bother me much at all here, the only thing I struggled with was the upper arm connection to the elbow which is extremely tight and hard to lock into place. Aside from that though this build was incredible it was so quick and easy. Also this kit comes with a 1/100 cow figure???? Probably the best part lowkey. Worth it just for that tbh.

Pros:

-Incredible finished product, minimum painting required (only the red dots on the legs and if you prefer a more orange yellow then those sections aswell)

-great articulation

-fun build

-awesome shelf presence

Cons:

-The shield and rifle are slightly hard to hang onto

-huge seam line on the side of the head

-Finger construction took me a while and would be easy to break if not careful!!!

-no midnight butterfly

Really there isn’t much to complain about here, it looks good on the ground and in the air, the panel lines are stunning and awesome and the build is incredibly fun. This lit just recently got a reprint so it will be cheaper then it has been in years, it’s a definite must for me personally. This kit was designed by katoki which really shows, that combined with originally being drsigned by Syd Mead means that this is a stunning thing to look at and really really should be built by anyone who can find it.

dress to impress cas challenge!!!

hi friends!!! i've been so obsessed with dress to impress lately i wanted to bring it to the sims a lil bit with a challenge 💗

the rules are:

roll a 20 sided die for the theme

roll a 10 sided die for the hair color

roll a 10 sided die 3 times for accessories! (you can use other accessories ofc, but you just have to also use whatever accessories you roll. also i know not everyone has access to cc bags, so if you roll for a bag and don't have one, ofc you can roll again for something else!)

have fun and feel free to do this challenge as many times as you like!! i did my best to make it as replay-able as possible so it could really feel like you're playing rounds of dti

i just use this dice roller, but feel free to use whatever roller you please!!

Hello friends! A lot of time has passed and maybe the first issue is not very relevant at the moment, but I have finished editing the magazine and want to share it with you. 🎉

The issue turned out to be quite large, so I divided it into two parts for easier perception. Below is part 1. I will publish part 2 a little later.

Eyelashes Glasses Fix

After testing myself. I think the fix for the broken glasses eyelashes is this:

Export Mesh and texture from original file

Start a new package from eyelashes

Import mesh and texture

Set geomatry to simglass.

Save and test

This should fix it for glasses eyelashes, and they will be in the eyelash category.

The glasses category no longer supports uv_1, so that's why its not working. Please share as much as you can! Thanks! @thefoxburyinstitute

Please note, that the eyelashes will still conflict with glasses. As that is a texture issue, and not what this fix is for.

LOVE ON THE RANCH: a bachelor's competition, where 8 lucky women will compete for the heart of our bachelor. asher lamier; born and raised in chestnut ridge, is a 22 year old rancher fresh out of university and looking for his one true love. he spent most of his childhood alone, as his dad was a competitive horse racer and his mother deceased not long after giving birth to her only child.

asher spends his free time going on rides with his beloved mare, tulip (seen in the photo above) gifted to him by his father when he was a child. he's a sucker for romance novels and loves his town with his whole heart. his favorite colors are red, green and orange. he can't cook for sh*t but he's an excellent wine maker.

WHAT HE'S LOOKING FOR: asher is looking for a long term, stable relationship (no pun intended). asher does not discriminate, he finds all types of women attractive. he definitely believes in love at first sight (he needs to put them books down) and believes once he marries the love of his life, there's nobody who can tear them apart. will you be the one for him? or will you walk away in despair?

INSTRUCTIONS:

to enter the competition you must upload at least 2 photos of your sim with a small backstory including a list of reasons why you think your sim is suitable for asher, using the hastag "love on the ranch entry". to have your sim featured in future posts, upload your sim to the gallery using #loveontheranch. if your sim uses cc, please link the cc used in your post. (this is required)

RULES: YOUR SIM...

must be a young adult

must be human

must have at least 2 everyday outfits (i will curate the rest)

cannot have the romantic trait

can have a romantic aspiration

must have at least 2 turn ons & 2 turn offs

must have at least 5 likes and dislikes

must wear a formal outfit in their entry photo (does not have to be a dress)

must have an occupation

must have at least 3 skills besides the cooking skill (which is required bc asher can’t cook 😭)

cannot have any pets included in the household

entry deadline is august 16th @ 1pm CT (7 days from today).

Sims 4 Lovesturck Expansion Pack: Story Prompts.

What's up good people?! With the new Expansion pack coming up, I thought it'd be nice to share with y'all a few gameplay ideas/story prompts for those who want to start writing stories on Tumblr using the sims 4 Lovestruck (This is also for you folks that might need something to get y'all started after reviewing everything about it)

Prompt 1: After many unsuccessful relationships, your sim is about to die from heartbreak. To prevent that from happening, they choose to stay single for a while but what happens when they find out someone has been "secretly admiring" them form afar? Would your sim meet the grim reaper before ever knowing who this secret admirer is?

Prompt 2: After a messy divorce/breakup from their partner/spouse, your sim decides to move to Ciudad Enamorada and start anew. Everything is a culture shock to them from the people, to the food to the music. Your sim befriends one of the townies and the townie decides to set up a blind date. Plot twist: It's their EX SPOUSE who also coincidentally was taking a vacation to said Ciudad Enamorada.

Prompt 3: You have a sim in the matchmaking career. With all the successful matches, you'd think your sim would be luck to find the perfect match for themselves.. Unlike the matches they have made, your sims's partner is what one would deem a hellish nightmare... what you do with them is completely up to you.

Prompt 4: Your sim is known as the casanova of Ciudad Enamorada. Known for taking on many lovers at the time, then leaving when they see fit. They find out there is a new resident in Cuidad Enamorada; a bachelor(ette) known to be a paragon of virtue, extremely good looking, ridiculously wealthy, and a good party host(ess). This catches you casanova's attention. Your sim gets an invitation to this bachelor's party. But this bachelor has a deep secret. What your sim doesn't know... won't hurt them... right?

Prompt 5: Your sim is a romance consultant; known to set the record straight with their clients. If it's woth working things out they'll tell you, if it's time for the couple to go their separate ways, they will go as far as recommending therapists & divorce attorneys. While working with a seemingly normal couple, your sim can't help but notice one of them is staring. Not just any type of stare either, no. they're giving your sim the seductive stare while the other is venting about how they feel to your sim.. Would your sim take the risk of runing their career for a seductive tension?
