“aren’t we all?” she offered with a small smile. there were always new faces when aurelia came to visit. however, she was usually able to place them in a family easily. but this guy… she wasn’t really sure who his parents could be. letting out a soft laugh, she shook her head. “you’re not bothering me at all! i don’t have anywhere to be until later, i’m just doing chores for my mom.” she began to walk, motioning for him to follow as she fixed the basket on her arm. “i could help you bandage yourself up? i fell a lot when i was little and my older brother taught me a lot about first aid. we had to know a lot out in the jungle, that’s where i’m from.” she turned before extending her hand out towards him. “i’m aurelia, by the way. aurelia porter. my parents are tarzan and jane.”
“I don’t know about that. there are some pretty graceful people on this earth.” Eli said with a laugh before shrugging. “alright if you say so. But I still appreciate the help.” he said as he followed her to the aisle. “I mean....yeah I probably would need your help,” he admitted. “I’m not used to this. Where I’m from...things are an easier fix.” He would leave it at that. People got weird when he told her that he was actually a ragdoll. “You’re from the jungle? That’s so sick!” he said and shook her hand. “I’m Eli. I’m the kid of the Finkelsteins. I don’t know if you know who they are. They uh...we mostly stick to ourselves.”
