That reason is because when I was born he wanted me dead. He didn’t like a son like me to live at all. He said I was to uptight, and wasted my day doing such foolish things, you see.” Way to put it that way, Dead.

What kind of screwed in the head father gives their own son a name like that— no goddamn reason if good enough to name someone dead. “Sorry to say this but your dad sounds fucked up.” She really wasn’t sorry, because it was probably true.

He looked back up seeing the other still standing. "Have a seat if you want," he spoke as he glanced back at his drawing and scribbled in it once more.

”Ya just gave ‘im a bit o’ his own medicine,” Hayato says and turns his gaze up to the sky and the way it painted itself red and orange and yellow. “Everybody feels left out for a bit. Ya just gotta find the right people. Hanging out with me won’t make you cool either. But hanging out with the popular people won’t make ya popular either. It’s the wallflowers that make ya stand out.” He almost feels like reaching out and ruffling the boy’s hair…—almost. But he doesn’t. He blows smoke into the air and watches it disperse.

||(:.⌘.:)|| "I suppose you're right. I just can't find the right people yet. Overall I'm just hanging out with the wrong people all the time." Dead looked away from Hayato as he was thinking of what he said. It would take forever just to find the right people to be around, but that chance was slipping away to easily. If he had to be a loner, then it was fine. He would understand that no one wanted to be around him and that was fine with him. He looked back at Hayato as he was puffing away on his cigarette and watching the smoke vanish. He watched for a bit and looked away once more.

To everyone I haven't greeted yet;

There was only one guy this kid could be talking about and he knew him well — Souta. He and Souta were good friends, surprisingly. He’d known him before his whole world was thrown into shit so he refuses to say anything bad about him. He glances down the bridge of his nose at the underclassman and raises an eyebrow. He talks around the cigarette in his mouth and tries to keep it from falling out, succeeding. ”Must be Souta, huh? Handful…but he always there f’me no matter what,” he says. He sounds pretty lazy, but he’s implying heavily that if Dead says another cruel thing about the boy, he would be in for some trouble. Hayato doesn’t take well to people dissing his friends, especially not on the first day of school when everyone was in a pretty shit mood. “Ya should find a friend like him.”

||(:.⌘.:)|| "I don't know if I can. I was just off edge because I got a phone call from my dad and he made me flipped. I didn't think there would be many students coming and I thought that, that would get my mind off things. Before realizing it, your friends Souta came and made things worse. I didn't mean to be rude, but it just couldn't take it anymore." Dead sighed as now he felt sorry for being such a ass to Souta now. Now dead was in a sad mood. From mad to happy then sad. What a mood swing it was. He sighed once more before continuing to speak. "I don't think anyone can tolerate me. I just can't find a group of people who will actually want to hang around me. All I know is that I'm just trying to fit in, but it's not working out. I guess I can just be a loner for the whole school year." Yes-- His other self was now interested seeing Dead finally give in to his true self.

It takes all of his self control to not roll his eyes and proceed onward and away from this sort of conversation. He got it all the time. Smoking is bad. He understood that. But what people needed to realize was that it wasn’t their life at stake. If he wanted to get lung cancer, he was gonna go ahead and get lung cancer. He takes another drag and sighs, careful to not blow his smoke in the kid’s face. “I’ll take yer thoughts into consideration,” he drawls and puts it back up to his mouth.

||(:.⌘.:)|| So, he was actually going to think about that lie he told the other. Good. At least there wasn't going to be fight. A heavy load off his shoulders. Already even if this guys smoked, he would rather hang around him then that four eye freak he ran into. He should ask if they could be friend, but then again he was just being a burden. Slipping from his mind he spoke what his mind what thinking of. "I actually like you better then that hot shot upperclassmen. You know when not to be rude around others even if they say something bad about you," he muttered.

“Hn.” He pulls his cancer stick back up to his lips and takes a drag. This kid was awful nosy, wasn’t he? That’s why he kept staring. It’s almost obvious how much the kid wants to say something, so Hayato raises a ginger eyebrow and makes a movement with his hands to allow the other to speak.

||(:.⌘.:)|| When Dead was given the okay signal. He nodded at Hayato as he cleared his throat. "I was wondering, but don't take it the wrong way. I actually think they way you're continuing to smoke will cause you a bad future." Oh, god. Please don't take it the wrong way. Dead was just not trying to be mean or anything. The real thing was that he actually looked cool the way he smoked. He just lied so, he wouldn't look like some sort of stalker now. Picking a fight was better then being some sort of admirer.

Am I supposed to feel intimidated or somethin’?” Souta hadn’t been trying to threaten anyone and if he thought that was threatening, he’d have another thing coming if he even dared to speak to Mimi-kun. Souta didn’t appreciate people talking to his property, especially if they looked like they were twelve. This kid was maybe sixteen, right? He acted like he was four… Oh. And now he was trying to be threatening? Souta snorts a bit and dusts Dead’s hands off his shoulders, feeling completely and utterly bored of his conversation. “I don’t wanna be your friend, blah blah blah, listen to me, I’m soooooo scary, blah blah blah. My name’s Dead, so I think I’m badass, blah blah blah.” He raises his eyebrows a bit. “Blah blah blah, blah, blah blah blah blah blah. Blah. Are you done now? Can I go to class now?”
