trinity and dennis are d1 thrifters and u cannot convince me otherwise. i just know their apartment is an absolute, chaotic wonderland of nonsense.

trinkets ? an out of control situation. there are weird little objects on every available surface, including an entire dedicated shelf for stupid ornaments. their kitchen ? a complete disaster of mismatched crockery. they have a whole display stack of plates and mugs, and i promise you not a single one belongs to the same set. the furniture ? 100% diy. mending, sanding, and painting thrifted facebook marketplace finds is basically their shared hobby. art decor ? the entire hallway is just lined wall-to-wall with the most delightfully stupid, ugly-beautiful paintings they could find.

they are living in a thrift store fever dream and i live for it.

i can imagine theo hates that stiles sees right through him, but he's also internally thrilled by the idea that stiles is paying that much attention to him to even notice it all. gods, they were so fixated on eachother, it sickens me,,,

ok this is gonna be a long ass rant but bear with me because i am physically vibrating at the sheer wasted potential of supernatural stiles. HEAR ME OUT..

we need to talk about the absolute narrative goldmine of stiles keeping a piece of the nogitsune's power post-canon. and i don't mean some lazy 'oh he's a fox now' hand-wave. i mean the gritty, psychological and biological side of it.

think about it: the nogitsune literally hijacked his mind. his body was occupied by a 1,000 year old trickster spirit. u don't just walk away from that. his brain was re-wired to process everything the way the nogitsune does. think of it as like,, spiritual muscle memory. the spirit is gone, but the neurological pathways ? permanently engraved. imagine him walking around with the maintained ability to perceive electromagnetic frequencies, or have those heightened fox-like senses, maybe he's even still able to form some level of shattered illusions.

or the bite. the bite destroyed the nogitsune's sentience, but the residual, scattered power had to go somewhere, right ? stiles' mind was already cracked open by the nemeton. his soul basically looked at the remains of the fox's power and went 'oh, free real estate to heal me', absorbing it to survive.

OR, alternatively; druid stiles. and this one is more,, trauma based ??

after everything he went through, stiles' absolute worst nightmare would likely be losing his mind again, or worse, someone he loves going through that. he's terrified, and just knowing about the supernatural is no longer a big enough shield. so he goes to deaton. not to become some op witchy badass, but for protection and peace of mind. he treats it like science. he studies herbology and chemistry, analysing compounds, and the literal physics of runic geometry. its stiles, of course he does. and this is a stretch, but maybe, because his mind was like,,, ripped wide open, he can sense the ley-lines of beacon hills, vibrating constantly. he has a newly formed, terrifying connection to the nemeton, and druidry grounds him. its like he's using it as cognitive behavioural therapy. he's using it to build a fortress around himself and the pack so no one else gets hurt like he did and like he hurt others.

i keep seeing posts talking about those significant scenes that change the way they view a pairing/ship. and when it comes to teen wolf and sciles? it's always the same moments. like stiles' phone call and scott doing everything in his power to find him, or scott taking stiles' pain after he whacks his hand off the jeep. and don't get me wrong, those are crucial scenes, but for me? the real trajectory shift was this tiny, two second moment in 02x12 (master plan).

when stiles jumps out of the jeep and immediately runs to hide behind scott ?? scott just instinctively guiding him ?? oh. it's such a small detail, but the trust and protectiveness. it altered my entire perspective on their relationship. idk why but this scene means everything to me.

ok im currently re-reading maze runner after re-watching the movies, n i couldn't stop thinking about thomas after the events of the death cure. SO here are some fun lil headcanons i came up with...

01. ㅤfor the first two months at the new safe haven, thomas just stopped speaking entirely. after everything that happened — all those things he never had the chance to say because they felt too heavy or he didn't have time — nothing would come out. it was all too much for him. he couldn't form a single word, his throat tightening every time he tried.

02. ㅤthomas developed severe chronic/phantom pain from all the large injuries he suffered during the collapse of the last city. due to stress, he also developed chronic migraines. sometimes, it would get so bad to the point that he couldn't breathe or keep himself upright.

03. ㅤthomas shifts from being aggressively protective and dependent on the remaining survivors to completely distancing himself — especially with minho. his survivor's guilt convinces him that anyone who gets too close to him is destined with an awful fate. he always keeps an eye but won't engage.

04. ㅤthomas always keeps his most important items on him. but they're not any random items. he never takes off the the necklace newt gave him, and still keeps the letter inside the vile. he always carries chucks little, wooden carving in his pocket, going mental if he thinks he's dropped or lost it. he constantly has a piece of fabric wrapped around his wrist, a scrap he accidentally tugged off of teresa's flannel.

thinking about sciles and how after the whole nogitsune ordeal, stiles would have persistent flashbacks/nightmares and had a horrible time trying to fall asleep. he didn't tell anyone at first, but scott noticed. he always did. scott was equally having a hard time dealing with allison's death and seeing his best friend go through something so trauamtic. now almost every night, one of them is crawling through the others window, and they'll curl up next to each other, yapping until they'd fall asleep, knowing they were safe with each other.

hucklerobby marriage where dennis takes michael's last name, so now whenever a patient asks for 'dr robinavitch', they have to specify whether they want the big one or little one.
