Choose life.
Its difficult, loving life, trust me i know, its a war of the mind not easily won, but you are not alone as though you may feel, you must remember to focus and breathe and look around you will see, a million and one reminders why the fight is worth it, for all the many smiles, laughs and memories. So, i encourage you, choose life, when the darkness has dimmed the very light which shone ever so bright! Choose life when the weight of those false, hateful thoughts have encumbered your mind and diminished almost the last of your might! Choose life , you are worth it, keep this in mind when your mind tell’s you it’s far from the truth, i know that you’re tired, i am too, but its worth it, push through and remember the strength buried deep in your soul and remember, just breath, look for the reminders, they’re in all that you see, they wait for your call in every flower, tree, river and leaf! They’re the embodiment of life, they keep a balance of both the dark and of light, death and of life! They have the insight and knowledge forgotten with time, they’re elders and keepers, ancient and wise! They’ll whisper their secrets if you listen, be calm and open your mind! They will gift you the secrets and lessons of which they hold, they will remind you the beauty in holding loved ones close, and the importance of laughter, love and of the never aging soul! They’ll whisper the importance of forgiveness and the value hope, they’ll remind you its okay to let the ones we lost go. This is my reminder to myself and for all those who need it, when you loose track and you find yourself in that place, remember to focus and breath, look for the reminders, there all around, you’ll see, you’ll find them in the wind, the stars, the moon and the sea <3
I will never not need this <3
Archeologist 20,000 years after horses go extinct: *cries* I don’t
That comment is one of the most accurate things in studying history.
I can feel the pain already
Sometimes when I'm high I like to imagine arguments in the far future about what kind of milk or eggs were in our recipes. I hope the main opposing factions would be divided over whether the milk was from dogs or cats because "what other mammals were in the vast majority of households back then?"
One of the details that has stuck with me from Bill Bryson’s book about domestic history is how, in early salt-and-pepper shaker sets--from around the time Europeans first started putting salt and pepper on the table--there is a third container, and nobody is entirely sure what it was for.
There are some highly plausible guesses--sugar is one of them; I forget the others--but the extant textual references to these items just say, “salt, pepper, etc.”
Back to the original post, in Poland we still say 'Everyone can plainly see what a horse looks like', and it means 'there's nothing to discuss here, everything is clear and obvious'. Benedykt Chmielowski, the venerable priest who wrote the compendium of knowledge, also provided this very brief definition of a dragon: "It is difficult to defeat a dragon, but one must try."
It's nutmeg duh
