DTIYS Imagined as an Adventure Game

Here is my Entry for @nomadicjester 's DTIYS 500 Subscriber Challenge on Cara. #Nomadic500DTIYS Congrats for already hitting 600 by the time I got this project done. <3 <3 This is his OC Oliver Calling his husband Dick on an old rotary phone. I was in a pixel art sort of mood so I wanted to challenge myself with some UI design and animation sort of emulating old point and click style games of the early 90s.

The UI interface itself was heavily influenced by king's quest 7 but the pixel art is my style I've been trying to hone over the years. The animation isn't super crisp but with only a week to finish I did my best with my over ambition. Either way I hope you like it and think it is as neat as I do. Axsa Rothe - The living Statue

Spent yesterday drawing a new dnd character I'm about to start playing in a campaign I was invited to. Had some fun with lighting and it was nice to do something a bit more familiar even if it was still time consuming because of the detail work and my indecisiveness

Axsa Rothe isn't his name but he thinks it is. Its actually a rude Drow phrase that has been tattooed on his wrist after he upset the Matron of the house he was consort for so deeply that ultimately she turned him to a statue for centuries eventually selling it when she grew bored of his face. His curse has finally broken but the experience of remaining aware while forced to live the life of a statue broke his mind as well, pieces of his memory and even his own mother tongue have slipped away and his body feels wrong, withered and numb, cracked from the years as stone. It will be a long road for him but I think that he will find a place in the world for himself once more.

He is from the Umbraviel Accord a Drow inhabited region in the world we're in that extends from the deep dark depths to the thick oppressive forests above. He is a soul knife rogue who has a fascination with poisons, surgery, spiders and secrets. He was the Fourth child of a house that was falling out of favour and was pressured by his mother's machinations to win the attentions of Suspiara Rilyn’rae whom he continued to encounter by happenstance everywhere he went. He bonded over shared interests and eventually grew to trust and use each other.

He helped Suspiara remove the competition stopping her from becoming the Matron of her house doing unspeakable things to help her and he was rewarded with the position of consort and servant. But with newfound power the relationship turned sour and toxic a miserable existence despite the wealth and acclaim he had earned for himself.

Maeve Wallorin - Sketch

The Sixth Childe of the Grand Prince of Krovil. Maeve is rumoured to be part of counter culture movements that criticize vampire rule. Often would keep her father in Check before something forced her to flee the city two months before her father's assassination.

I did this drawing on my e-ink tablet's note's app which is fun to draw in when I'm not accidentally jumping to a new page or notebook by accident with my palm. Then I'm Following up some touchups with colours and added details on my regular drawing tablet in clip studio. I wanted to push the shadows to full on graphic black because I enjoy how moody it makes the subject.

Had a very busy month or so lately and was a bit burned out so my remaining drawings are very simple sketches the sort of thing I usually have as my second or first pass sketch in my usual drawings It was still quite good practice and I did like the variety in poses

Sgt, De Vein - Draw Everything June 2025

Skipped ahead a few days for draw everything june - I still technically have two more weeks to finish the challenge but I felt inspired for this one because it matched up with one of the NPCs that I have for dnd again. This is Sgt De Vein a human and head of the Squad of enforcers that one of our player characters was a part of. She's a bit of a badass and we love her for it. Enforcers are loyal to the people of the empire and the emperor themselves putting them in a bad position when the leadership of one of the pillars of the empire has crumbled and has begun to fracture.

Temple of the Blood God - Draw Everything June 2025

I have combined several of the poses from #adorkastock 's #draweverythingjune2025 This depicts the interior of the massive Krovic temple that pays homage to the demigod and first vampire who leads the kingdom. The statue depicts the grand prince granting his vampiric gifts to his first 'Childe' bringing his best friend into the fold of immortality. Below a blood priestess is about to grant the same gift to a graduate fledgling of the keepers. I'm glad I did this but I think the rest of my draw everything june drawings are going to be quick sketches that I'll revisit because this ended up being a crazy month.

Granny Goth - Draw Everything June 2025 Day 5 - Digitigrade

I was a little stumped on this pose which was originally a minitaur style referenced until I realized that it would also be perfect for Granny Goth. Ancient and beloved resident of the Vein. She manages a curio and alchemy shop with her partner and eternal love and pain in the butt Madame Rattlebones. If this wasn't part of a daily challenge that I'm already going overboard with I'd probably add all sorts of nicknacks, wall hangings patterned paper and probably patterns on her skirt but alas I'm already one full week behind. ;u; Hope you like my horribly haggy grandma.

Julian - Draw Everything June 2025 Day 4 - Go On

Just wrapped up this drawing last night. Here we have Julian , fledgling Keeper. Keepers are the secret police of Krovil a sprawling northern city ruled by vampires in my dnd campaign. Julian who is human, is a bit softer than some of his cohorts in the force and he hasn't the stomach for the drastic changes that come with the shift in attitudes and rule of law following the assassination of the Grande Prince. pose from #adorkastock's #draweverythingjune

Acrobats - Draw Everything June 2025 Day 3 - Back to Back

Here is Day 3 of #adorkastock's #DraweverythingJune2025 Which I am still using as a double excuse to keep working on drawing dnd npcs for my campaign. Here we have Rhea and Ayro Aradi who are twins who are part of a performing troupe who artistically move playing with music and shadow. The players have met and rescued Ayro when a cluster of the crowd were arrested after the Grande Prince's assassination and Ayro attempted to run.

Here is Miriam Blackwood Member of the 'Cryptkeepers' in Krovil A Vampire wing of law enforcement that has total control in times of Crisis. Miriam is Head Keeper Formidable, terrifying and in no way should have this much power handed to her.

A. Spiring - Draw Everything June 2025- Day 1 - Sassy

He is very silly. An old timey radio announcer from my Dnd world after a request from one of my Players combined with Day 1's Draw Everything June for 2025

I present to you the anchor for On the Vein August Spiring or "A. Spiring" of course.

He is of course very "FASHION" I usually try to do backgrounds for my draw everything june's but my day was super busy perhaps I'll come back and add one.

Tzar Doros Greycastle and his loyal steed 'elliot' the elk named by his son. He is a lich but not of the traditional variety Preserved like a jeweled insect in amber the emperor of Tenebria in the northern reaches of Borealis is evergreen and never ending.

Obsessed with secret magics, quiet, just but unforgiving Grim has a dangerous reputation. Especially among his enemies.

I've been procrastinating this portrait for ages because I had a very specific look in mind but I wasn't sure I could pull it off. Despite some minor errors I'm really so pleased with this one<3 I had an ungodly number of layers for no reason.
