Kylo Ren is such a great villain.
Nothing and nobody will ever be able to top Darth Vader as a villain, both in the original trilogy on its own terms and in our nostalgia for it. And the filmmakers knew that, so they made a villain who knows it too.
This is one of the most brilliant posts on Kylo’s character I’ve ever read. Good work

Man I just watched Solo again and the whole time I just keep having this urge to get on my knees and plead passionately to JJ Abrams for Ben Solo to Pilot the millennium falcon. It’s not a lot to ask right? Is it???😭😭😭
Join Me, Strength or Weakness???
Others have probably observed this but I wanted to put this out there myself. In the hut scene Rey says, “it isn’t too late.” For me I saw it as her asking him to “join me” her seducing him back to the light. Ben Solo doesn’t hesitate to take her hand. He doesn’t even think about it, off with the glove and immediately takes her offer by taking her hand. He knows she’s the enemy and this could get him in all kinds of deep trouble. He doesn’t care about the consequences if there are any he wants to join her. Would you view this as being strong to turn from the darkness and reach for her and the light (I feel it again the pull to the light) or would you view him as weak or n that moment because he’s so drawn to her? (Looking for them everywhere...it’s your greatest weakness...” when he said that line to her I almost wanted to laugh because it was the pot calling the kettle black. He fell because he so desperately wanted acceptance and belonging.
When he held out his hand to her after they slaughtered the guards and Snoke immediately we saw her as being strong to resist him. Idk if I could say no to Kylo he’s pretty seductive, but she did. She couldn’t go down that dark road, not even for him. I view Ben as strong in that moment. As a wise man once said “it takes a great deal of strength to stand up to your enemy’s, but even more to stand up to your friends.” Not that Snoke is the best friend a boy could ever have but he still stood against his allies by taking her hand. I wonder if Luke had not interrupted whether he may have been fully seduced back to the light side. If more time had been spent to develop their relationship, would he have been enveloped in that comforting feeling of belonging and given up all that dark side power to be with someone who accepted him as he is? Or would he give in to his desire for power just as Anakin did in ROTS and just like he chose to do after he murdered Snoke? Are they each other’s strength? Or do you think they are each other’s weakness? But it sure was foreshadowing from my point of view who’s more likely to be seduced and it wasn’t Rey lol “it isn’t too late.” (Ben Solo immediately starts removing clothing to join the girl)
Anyway I’m sure others have thought of these things but wanted to know what others think about these crazy thoughts that often race through my mind. This thought won the race today lol

Wish and a Dream
Soooo I’m really wishing, dreaming, hoping for a scene where Kylo/Ben appears to Rey in a force connection and she tells him, “we can’t see each other this way anymore, or any other way. We are finished. For good this time, and I REALLY MEAN IT THIS TIME!” Ben looks at her and smiles, he laughs a bit like she’s making a joke, “you always say that.” Then he takes her hands pulls her to him and kisses her. Please to TPTB 🙏🏻 can you make this happen just once ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
So I was a bit put off by this to say it mildly, and that is saying it very mildly lol have a listen to this and please comment if you can to defend Kathy Kennedy, female characters, and women everywhere because this was a big load of Bull Shit with a capitol B AND S. Usually I love this guy and agree with his POV but this got me 😡 so because you show your pride by wearing Star Wars apparel then you’re not a real fan? And god forbid a woman should have money or success on her agenda. I do t ever see anyone criticizing good old George for wanting those things in life why is it wrong for Kathy Kennedy to want those things in life??? JUST SAYIN😎
Has anyone seen this news yet? And if so what are some thoughts ? I personally don’t think the character will be Luke’s wife or Rey’s mother but it does make you go hmmmm???

So I’m getting ready to watch Ready Player One. We’ll see how it compares to the book. I love the book so much I’ve read it 3 times whether this movie is good or bad I’ll probably read it again♥️ Wish me luck I hope it’s as great as I think the book is!
