The thing people love about Tumblr is that it’s Tumblr. It’s unique. It’s the community where artists share their hard works with people. To see the platform try to be like TikTok and Twitter/X is so disheartening.

Anyway, no, we do NOT want the new update that breaks reblog chain and turns each reblog with comment into a whole new post where the OP doesn’t get notes or credits, but instead the reposter does. Not to mention how easy it will be for people to abuse the change and turn it into a tool to harass the OP.

Remember “reblog don’t repost”. @tumblr @staff @changes @support you are destroying the very thing people love about your platform with this new update. Listen to your own users. Stop trying to be Twitter.
