Scam alert! Be aware of the Russian collector; Artiom Mirocnecenko, from Moscow. Apparently they have been involved in a number of doll trades on facebook, and their part of the trade is never received. Do not trade with this person. They also go by Arti Uncommonec, and Artem Miroch which both appear to be false names.

Honestly the DoA marketplace is rather slow these days. I have much better luck on the FB groups!

I really love DD’s cause I like the anime style but also I find them so easy to pose with and light to carry. Also they’re not as delicate as a resin which would crack if they fell onto a hard floor. Quality wise DD’s look just as good and customisable as any resin. You really need to see them in person but I just don’t understand anybody who doesn’t like them for any reason other than they don’t like the anime style. You don’t know what your missing out on especially the easy posing!

Cheap companies, layaway options, I hate all. I hate how ‘accessible’ this hobby is to poor people now. Back in the day it used to mean something, an exclusive club I was proud to be part of. Now any dumbass teenager can buy some cheapass doll and be 'part of it’. It’s disgusting, and I hate that these 'peasants’ think they’re the same as me when they’re a different group entirely! Poor people have ruined the hobby and brought about all the bad things, and their greed will kill it in the end.

I have been in the hobby for almost 9 years & even when I was beginning there were companies like Bobobie & AoD. Almost any seller on DoA would entertain a layaway as well.

People who own recasts of sculpts, but then generally refer to them as the sculpt name/brand need to stop. It’s not a Minifee. It’s a recast. It will never be a Minifee ever. Stop trying to subconciously justify your terrible actions.
