Torn Apart / Bastille ft. Grades
[ She’s seen in the bathroom, sitting down on the floor as she tries to wash Trenton, as had thrown some of his lunch around and some ended up in his hair. Much to Mena’s dismay, he was refusing to sit still ]
No, no, bud. You’ve got to sit still.
Who’s the best babysitter in the world? I am! [ She grins as the kids she’s watching over gurgles and giggles in response ]
@sleepinthegardn:Who is “Erialc?” #Suits #bringyourfiancetoworkday #hashtag
Who's the boss?!
-He unwrapped them and grinned at the sight carefully leafing through the scrapbook his fingers tracing the images softly and also the impressions of Kieran and Trenton’s feet setting them down he got up and wrapped his arms around her- This is amazing. Thank you.
[ Mena grinned ] I'm glad you liked them. I was worried you'd think it was a bit odd.

Hunter adjusted himself in his seat once, twice, three times before finally settling. “Okay, well my name is Hunter… Talon. Talon is my last name. I am actually a twin, he is called Gabriel and he is pretty much me. I’m 18, I’m studying Philosophy at the local college and I have a scholarship to play football for them, most people think I’m a linebacker, but I’m actually a receiver. Being 6’4’ and fast has its advantages. I work at the sandwich shop…” he said the entire lot in almost one breath, in quite a nervous manner. “But what about you?”
"Well, I'm Teagan Bowen and I'm originally from Boston, but my family is Irish, hence the slight accent, so we kept with Irish tradition. I had two sisters, but they died a few years ago," She explained, trying to quickly get over the sibling topic, as she didn't want to spend too much time on it, "I'm twenty, and on a full scholarship at the medical school here. I plan to become a surgeon once I graduate. I've always been into science and helping people so I thought I might put my interest to good use and become a doctor."
What’re we still doing here then? There are cookies to be eaten.
Alright, follow me. [ She nodded, leading the way ]

Hunter kicked his bike to life and grinned at the familiar roar, he figured it would take her fifteen minutes to get to the cafe, he could get home in five, change and put on some normal people clothes and get back in that amount of time. Speeding through the streets he flew into his room, barely speaking to Gabe before roaring off down the street and skidding to a halt outside the Coffee shop. Reaching inside he looked at the menu and then remembered that he hated hot drinks, so he just bought a bottle of water, making his way over to Teagan he smiled. “I’m glad you made it ok.” he said pleasantly.
She looked up, closing her textbook shut once more when she heard his voice. Teagan nodded as she slipped the thick textbook back into her backpack and zipped it back up. "Sorry it took me a bit longer to get here. I had to stop by the library for a quick second, but the self checkout machine kept rejecting my card so I had to manually enter it twice and it just wouldn't go, but I'm here now," She said, gesturing for him to take a seat, "Tell me about yourself."
Save my life set me free these lonely nights are haunting me
Cut me out from the cold this young heart is getting old
Save my life set me free a yes or no is all I need
You don’t want me darlin, let me know, just say goodbye and I’ll go
"It’s not really that far of a walk. I should be just fine on my own," She said, turning back so that she was facing Hunter. Teagan couldn’t help but notice that he was rambling on, clearly indicating that he was nervous, though what could he be so nervous about? It wasn’t...
Teagan could do more than hair handle herself. Being a victim of sexual assault, she never went anywhere without a way to protect herself, need it be with pepper spray or with a Swiss Army knife. If in the situation again, she was prepared to defend herself. "I won't get lost," Teagan said, turning around. "I've walked there before." With a nod, she began to walk in the direction of the shop. Along the way, she stopped into the library to quickly return and check out books she had been waiting for before walking into the shop. Teagan ordered her usual tea before sitting down by the window, pulling out her textbook to read once more while she waited.
…Maybe. Are they chocolate chip?
I have chocolate chip ones back in my cabin, as well as other kinds of cookies.
Just a bit. I’ll let it slide though. Just this once.
Would a cookie maybe make up for my joke's lameness?

He nodded understandingly. “Well I can just walk with you?” he said sort of hesitantly. “If you want me to of course.” he took a breath. “I mean if you’d just prefer that I met you there I can do that too.” he said before shaking his head. “Just ignore me. No motorcycle rides and I promise that I’m not a serial killer or anything, I don’t even really like Corn Flakes.” he said at the end, trying to salvage the encounter with a joke, although he doubted that it had worked, somehow he always managed to make a fool of himself in front of pretty girls like Teagan, and she was someone who he didn’t want to think that he was a fool.
He had had his motorbike for a couple of years and it was one of his favourite things to do, riding his motorcycles, sometimes he took it out of the city and just rode it for hours, only coming back when he was too tired or hungry to keep going safely.
"It's not really that far of a walk. I should be just fine on my own," She said, turning back so that she was facing Hunter. Teagan couldn't help but notice that he was rambling on, clearly indicating that he was nervous, though what could he be so nervous about? It wasn't her, was it? Maybe it was just a social thing, thought even if it was, Teagan couldn't blame him for it, as when she was younger, she had a hard time being social with her peers. "I'll meet you there?"
Who's the boss?!
-He flopped back onto the bed waiting for her to return looking at her with a smile as she handed them to him. With a small shake of the first he unwrapped it and then did the second- Oh that’s awesome.
[ She smiled, watching him unwrap both the new scrapbook, containing pictures and the like since Mena found out she was pregnant, and the second gift, impressions of both Trenton's and Kieran's feet in concrete ] I figured, that since we started a new chapter in our lives, we might as well start another scrapbook. As for the second one, Catherine used to make these every year for my fathers birthday with Perrie's and Priam's handprints, so I thought I'd continue the tradition.
Oh Gods, I'm sorry. That was lame.
Who's the boss?!
I wouldn’t want to move anyway even if I could. Mm fine. I won’t complain too much.
[ She smiled and pressed a kiss to his cheek before turning on her heel, making her way to the kitchen. Once she checked on the meal in the oven, she grabbed two wrapped boxes. Once she had the boxes in hand, she made her way back to Nick, where she handed him both of the boxes ] Happy birthday, love.
What do boxes breathe?
Cardboard dioxide.
