tags / notes — [ 18+ ], my first demon slayer post eeeek you guys i think i'm in my demon slayer girlie phase !! :'>
word count — 300 words each. only two characters cus i'm still working on my characterization sob :')
RENGOKU wasn't experienced at all before he met you, so making love to you was like being submerged into a completely unfamiliar, ethereal world—every second of his first time with you was so beautiful, so comfortable. the first time you two made love, he cried a little afterward. he was worried you'd be turned off, but you simply cradled him in your arms and cried with him. you're the only person kyojuro has ever had sex with, and he honestly doesn't think he'll ever need anyone else if this is what it feels like to fall in love. anything you want, whenever you want it—his goal in life is to make you happy. the pleasure you give him is so fucking euphoric, kyojuro absolutely loves fucking you—sometimes, he even surprises himself with how much he wants it. he's still a little shy about coming onto you first, so he'd never say it aloud, but he suspects his own sex drive may be even higher than yours, though you're under the impression you've always wanted it more than him. every once in a while, he does get a little antsy—those are the days he makes the first move, returning home from a mission, all of his dirty fantasies about you over the past months spilling over once his eyes are on you, his cock aching the moment he pulls you in to kiss you. he wraps your legs around his waist and hoists you up to carry you to the bedroom—"it's been too long, my love. i need to fuck you now, i can't wait another moment. . . i've nearly gone crazy dreaming of your touch." overall, your high sex drive is completely matched by his—though it takes him a while to grow comfortable expressing it.
SHINAZUGAWA is no stranger to sex—he definitely enjoys it. however, it isn't until he falls in love with you that he comes to realize how intertwined emotion and pleasure actually are for him. every time you're together, he fucks you so deeply, so passionately, he thinks he might actually go insane from how good it feels, from how much of himself he's giving to you—the way you whine and beg for him every second he isn't touching you just lights his soul on fire. there's just something inside him that awakens when he's with you, as though his only purpose behind closed doors is to make you feel wanted, seen, adored."f-fuck, you want it again already, love?" he climbs back on top of you when he feels your delicate hand tugging on his shoulder, a needy little whine escaping your lips as you do. your eyes are glossy as you instinctively grind your wet pussy against his still rock-solid cock. he shudders at the sensation—"your clit isn't too sensitive for that? god, baby, i can't fuck you enough to make up for the time i was gone." he kisses you like he'll never see you again, because he doesn't know if, or rather, when, his duty to the corps will tear him away from you again—he only knows he wants to make this moment last a little longer. the little world of bliss he hides in with you is utterly perfect—he never wants to leave your side, never wants to stop touching you and satisfying your carnal desires. "gonna make you cum as many times as you want, baby—never gonna stop fucking you, not until you're satisfied, that's my job, yeah?" protecting you, loving you, and fucking you—that's all sanemi needs in this life, really.
contains: gn/afab reader, cheating, suggestive-ish?, 0.2k wc, these niggas is dogs but y/n aint doing right either😒👎🏾
He's so nonchalant about everything. He spoiled you as if you weren't a side and had 0 issues bringing you into his family's home, letting you use his wife's belongings, and even taking you on the bed the two of them slept in. The setting made you uncomfortable at times, walking inside seeing barbie dolls and blocks scattered on the floor, family portraits on the walls and even his kids drawings on the fridge. He made it clear to you that his marriage meant little to nothing to him and you couldn't help but feel a little bad for his wife... not enough to stop though.
He knows it's wrong and yet he can't keep himself from indulging in you every now and then. It was almost sad with the way he'd turn his hookups with you into a therapy session with how much he bitched about his wife. Like to the point where bringing her up in bed was banned because it became an immediate turn off for you. Once in a while you'd come across the couple in public and made a silent eye contact with the man. He was quick to go about his business but you couldn't help but see a feint expression of guilt on his face.
Takemichi Hanagaki, Nahoya Kawata, Ken Ryuguji, Rindou Haitani, Keisuke Baji
Cheating?? This boy??? Yea uh uh not round here. Mans does not play bout his relationship in the slightest idcccccc he stands on business.
Am I really late with all the requests? Yes. Would I have peace until I wrote Law's angst with his daughter that I mentioned here? HELL NO
---
The diagnosis
Law x F!Reader (but the main focus is Law with your daughter, Rosi)
warnings: angst, a lot of angst. Hurt/Comfort. Mentions of Dressrosa's arc, F!Reader and the crew are in Zou. Rosi is around seven years old, a child still learning to deal with feelings. Some things may be non-canon.
a/n: I've had this idea saved and drafted since I posted pt.01 of Law x F!Pregnant!Reader and as I had a few minutes left today, I decided to take them out of the draft.

Perhaps not even the heavens knew how long he had waited for this moment. How much he feared that this moment would never come.
The path guided by the vivre card seemed further from what he imagined, tireless steps in a direction in which he was guided. But Law knew what that racing heart in him meant, the sweat on his hands, the anxiety on his body. He had managed to return to his family.
Law barely had time to prepare himself before he saw Bepo run towards him, his body immediately bent to support the weight of the huge bear on top of him. He couldn't deny it, he was happy to see the crew again and they were an essential part of the family.
The small makeshift house in Zou was more than enough for you and Rosi, in addition to the crewmates who sometimes stayed there to provide some help or company. However, this time you could hear a commotion outside, something atypical for the time of day. Still wearing a kitchen apron, preparing lunch for the two of you - three in this case, Ikkaku was distracting Rosi outside and would definitely be invited to join you, you tried to reach the knife you had used earlier. The tool stopped being necessary as soon as you saw the person you most looked forward to seeing enter right behind Bepo.
"Law?" your voice barely came out, barely kept up with the speed of your thoughts or your body throwing itself against his. "I was so worried!" at that moment, your voice was already breaking with the tears held in for so long.
"I'm sorry for not giving you any news." he began, pressing your body tight against his and filling every bit of skin he could find with kisses. "I missed you so much."
"Hey, where's the little one?" Bepo asked, looking around. You let go of your husband just enough to answer him.
"She and Ikkaku had left, but they should be arriving soon." Turning your attention to Law, you took his hand and guided him to the table. "I know you must be tired, but I need to know everything that happened."
Even though he was tired, Law knew he owed you that. Crewmates had given a little preview of your situation as soon as they saw you arrive. "And you just took a good ton off your wife's shoulders." The phrase still danced in his mind as he recounted his solo adventure in a more superficial way.
It didn't take long for the story to be interrupted again, but this time, with a little comfort for Law. Rosi's laugh reached his ears even before the girl appeared in his field of vision. However, something felt off.
"Daddy?" The laughter seemed to disappear as soon as she found her father's figure sitting at the table.
"My little princess!" Law got up excitedly to go towards her and saw her retreat and go behind Ikkaku and then run away to go back to the yard.
"Rosi!" Your tone of voice, despite not getting any louder, became firmer and all it took was an exchange of glances with Ikkaku for her to help you and go after the girl.
You could feel the gazes of the other companions burning in your direction and even Law analyzing you in a way that you knew he had doubts, but that would be for later.
"So… Luffy helped you?" Penguin tried to return to the topic and you could notice your husband continuing the conversation.
A much less interested tone of voice than before accompanied the small glances he took towards the door, waiting for his little one to return.
At lunch time, Ikkaku managed to bring the girl back and together, they had lunch. You and Law were still able to exchange topics between you, but you could both notice that the girl only exchanged words with Ikkaku and just moved the food from one side to the other.
"Dear?" your sweet voice tried to call her and you could see her eyes shining towards you, identical to Law's. "What happened? You barely ate."
"From what I remember, it's your favorite dish, isn't it?" Law added, having noticed the same thing.
The girl just looked at him and then at the plate. A small, barely audible "yes" left her lips, before she could push the plate away and leave the three of you adults behind at the table. The sigh coming from you was audible at the same time as you put your hands to your face and clearly frustrated, you went after your little girl.
"Captain?" Ikkaku caught his attention, who seemed still inert in the scene he had just witnessed, with a small murmur from him, she knew she could continue. "I know you have your worries and I bet you arrived tired, but…" she indicated where you were sitting at the table. "It wasn't just Rosi who didn't touch the food."
"What have I missed in this time away?" he asked immediately, seeing his crewmate get up and touch his shoulder, gently.
"It's been a difficult time captain. Your girls will soon be completely happy again."
Law had this dizzying thought in his head throughout the afternoon. Knowing that you were busy with Rosi and that his doubts would likely remain in the air, he sought out the second group of people he might know.
"I need help." Law arrived at the small circle, warning the other three that they were starting to walk in an unknown direction. "Can you help me?"
"We're going to have a drink, but speak up, captain." Shachi encouraged, throwing his arm over Law's shoulder.
"Have you lost the knack of seducing your own wife?" Penguin tried to do the same and ended up being pushed away just like the other one.
"Nothing like that. I want to know what happened to the two of them while I was away. What has been happening to my wife and daughter." Almost tangibly, Law felt the air become heavy and his colleagues' expressions became more serious. "I knew something had happened."
"You should ask your wife." Shachi insisted.
"No." Bepo interrupted. "We know she won't tell everything and that she and Rosi have been at it for a while."
"What happened?" Law said more rudely, he was no longer anything more than a bundle of worries.
"In the first few days, Rosi suffered a lot, I think it was a lot of different things all at once. But there was the small incident with the vivre card." the bear began, receiving the captain's full attention. "We know that at some point you were on the verge of death and well, they noticed."
"What do you mean they noticed?"
"Do you think a wife wouldn't look at the vivre card of her husband who went on a practically suicidal mission?" Penguin pointed out as if it were obvious. "We were all together and trying to calm her down. Rosi wasn't home, so we didn't worry too much.
"Fuck." Law murmured, suspicious of the direction that story could take. He remembered giving her the paper as a way of reassuring the girl. The plan had apparently gone wrong.
"So, they both saw you kind of die and come back into their hands. Ikkaku was with Rosi and took her back home…" Bepo seemed hesitant to continue, but Law's incisive look didn't allow it. "She was desperate, as any child would be, I think."
"After that, Rosi became like this, more quiet in her own way. It's been a bit of work to eat, to socialize, she seems to be keeping everything to herself." Shachi took on a serious tone that Law wasn't used to seeing.
Shit, shit and a thousand times shit.
"Captain!" Law felt Bepo pull him back. "I know you must be worried, but it's good to cool your head before talking to them."
"I just want to show them that I'm okay." he insisted, but gave up. Leaning against the nearest tree and taking a deep breath, trying to get your head straight. "I'm a terrible father."
"I do not think so." again, Shachi's rare serious tone appeared. "If it was, they wouldn't have missed you so much."
Night fell and Law hesitated a bit before entering the house again. He was the one who had caused the strange atmosphere, he was the one who was making his girls barely eat. How to live with that?
As soon as he entered, he could see you collecting some dishes, alone in the kitchen. Taking slow steps and being careful not to scare you, he wrapped his hands around your waist, letting his face sink into your neck.
"I know I have some things to retract." he murmured against your skin, placing a light kiss. "I know I owe a lot to you and our girl and I know I gave you both a real scare."
"Babe…"
"I'm sorry." he asked and found your eyes flooding, just the mention seemed to hurt you again. "Forgive me"
"I understand well how vivre cards work, but I won't deny the scare." you chose to leave most of the drama out, turning to him and watching Law dry the few tears that were running down your face.
"Our babygirl doesn't understand, does she?"
"Our babygirl doesn't understand." you agreed. "I talked to her today, she says she feels kind of sick when she's around you. I said luckily her dad is a great doctor. You should go talk to her." you insisted and saw him nod, but remain still, just taking in what to expect. "Honey, she's fine. She's just trying to deal with everything that happened. She loves you unconditionally."
"I-I'll go there."
It was like when he found out about your pregnancy or like when he held little Rosi in his arms for the first time. The nervousness, the insecurity of seeing little Rosi again.
He leaned against the doorstep and for a few seconds, he saw her distracted with some drawings on paper. From afar he could recognize Bepo, you and the others amidst the scribbles.
"Hey!" he tried to attract attention in a pleasant way, seeing the girl startle and look in his direction. "It's okay. Can I stay here for a little while?"
"Yes Dad." she replied in a low tone again.
Dodging some toys on the floor, he walked over to the bed, sitting down and looking around. It wasn't as crowded a room as hers at Polar Tang, but it felt cozy. Next to her pillow rested the small plush he had given as a gift, which was next to her hat - identical to his - and a photo of the two of them, taken in a park that Rosi made Law go to absolutely every attraction.
"Your drawings are cool." he tried to start a conversation and saw her nod. "Your mommy told me you haven't been feeling well."
"Yeah, I feel weird." she limited herself to punctuating, not knowing how to put into words what she felt.
"Come here so I can take a look." Law asked and stretched out his hand to her.
Rosi approached and letting his medical instincts guide, Law analyzed the girl from top to bottom, eyes, throat, everything within reach of his eyes. However, he could notice that the girl avoided looking directly at him.
"Let me see… Is this right too?" He squeezed her sides, tickling her. For a brief moment, Rosi allowed herself to laugh, but then pushed Law's arms away. "My love, tell me what you're feeling."
"I don't know." she murmured, her eyes looking away from him again.
Gently he took her small chin between his fingers and turned her towards him.
"You know you can trust me, don't you?" he asked and saw her nod, her bottom lip trembling slightly. "Explain to me in your own way, what you're feeling."
"Here, it feels like there's something here and it's burning, like it's stuck." she pointed to her throat and then to where her little heart was. "And here, sometimes it feels like someone is squeezing really hard."
"Squeezing hard?" he touched gently, feeling the girl's accelerated heartbeat.
It was a complex diagnosis and if Law didn't know what had happened - and how much love his relationship with his daughter carried, it would have been impossible to discover. But, he had a brief hunch.
"I think I know what it could be." he said, with a small smile on his lips. "Do you trust me?"
"Yes." she nodded along.
Law held her small hands and brought them to his face, just like he did with his hands. As soon as she did, he could see her lip tremble even more. Poor little girl. What had he done to leave her without information?
"You can feel my face, can't you?" he asked and she nodded. "And you can feel me too, can't you?"
Law lightly squeezed one of her cheeks, trying in vain to get a laugh from the girl. He didn't know if he could handle the girl's tears.
"Now I want you to take a deep breath, like this…" he breathed in and saw her do the same. Soon after, he exhaled and saw her repeat the gesture too. "Can you keep doing that while daddy talks to you?"
Again the girl nodded, now her eyes seemed focused on every movement Law made. Trying to reassure her, Law let her take a deep breath before starting.
"I know I scared you and that you saw my vivre card disappear, I know you thought I was gone." Just those words were able to bring a few sobs out of the girl and Law would be lying if he said that his own eyes weren't burning. "I know that a lot has changed and that I wasn't here to help you. I wanted to apologize for that. Forgive me, my little princess?"
Rosi, who was already just sobs and tears, allowed herself to cry again after a while. Law didn't hesitate to hold the little girl in a hug, his eyes that used to burn now shed tears without hesitation.
"I - I thought y-you weren't... y-you weren't c-coming back." the girl said through sobs, each one breaking Law's heart.
"You and your mother are the most important things I have in my entire life. I would never leave you." he explained, seeing that it only made her cry even more. "I promise never do that again."
"Do you really promise?"
"With all my life." The girl's crying still seemed inconsolable and Law wondered for a brief moment how much hurt she had held, how many nights she had gone to sleep thinking that her own father would never return. "It's okay my love, I'm here. Daddy promises to never leave you."
In the distance, you could hear the crying and small words of reassurance exchanged between the two. Little by little, your little family was getting back on track.
As soon as the crying stopped, Law could see the girl's eyes get heavy and it didn't take long for her to fall asleep. One of her arms tied to his as if to prevent him from disappearing from her sight. Her diagnosis was almost as simple as the one he had given himself: she just missed him, the same as he missed his little girl.

may i ask for dad!kazutora hcs..? hes just so silly and such a blorbo :<
Of course, here are some! Love dad Kazutora!
He's very nervous when he first finds out he's gonna be a dad, panics a little. He can't help but compare himself to his own dad.
Makes a promise that he'll never be like his father and his kid will never feel the same way he did.
Once he get's over that initial fear he becomes a lot more excited about being a father (but still a tiny bit nervous)
Cries when his baby is born and he first holds the baby.
He never thought he would be one of those dads who calls their kids cute nicknames, but you catch him calling the baby his "little tiger" or "cub" a few times.
He's so excited for every little milestone, calls Baji up to brag a lot.
Is very gentle and patient
Whenever he comes home from work and sees his kids and you, his eyes just light up. It's very cute.
Although he badly wants his kid's first word to be for him, he encourages them to say "mummy" for you instead
He's surprisingly good at comforting crying kids, cradling them and distracting them with a story (usually one of his old gang stories but twisted into a slightly more kid friendly way).
Dresses his kid in very bright colours which don't always match
Will throw hands with anyone who dares to talk badly or threaten his kid
He really enjoys taking his kid on days out together, family trips are his favourite.
Promises to teach them to drive bikes when they're older
Will sometimes encourage his kid to do kinda questionable things like fight if someone is mean to them.
He can be very protective at times
And lastly, one time he accidentally lost his kid or he thought he did. (He was actually just overly tired that day and his baby was strapped to his chest but he still had a few minutes of panicking).
Baji may seem like a rough partner, but in reality, he’s really sweet and gentle.
I imagine that he’s completely whipped for his girlfriend and would literally do anything for you. One word is all it takes and he does it for you.
Picks you up on his motorcycle if you two go to the same school. After school is done he’s leaning on his bike, waiting for you as others are watching. Once he spots you his cold demeanor immediately flashes into a love sick smile.
He shares everything with you, even his passwords. I imagine he’s not really technologically intelligent and if you are he’s always asking you for help. You are a certified password girl.
His love language is quality time, a bit of physical touch, and acts of service. Wouldn’t care what you guys do as longs as he’s with you. He loves holding your hand and just playing with your hair even when you don’t ask him to do it. He just does it as he’s on his phone or talking to you. He doesn’t need to be be groping you to be satisfied.
He loves doing things for you, he fixes whatever damaged stuff you have and literally doesn’t expect anything in return. He loves you so much, seeing your happy smile is all he needs.
You guys have hair care nights💕
Snack nights. Trying new restaurants around you guys and rating them all on a scale of 10.
When he’s in a toman meeting and you’re waiting patiently, you do anything to make him laugh when he’s upfront on the stage. He tries so hard to keep his composure. Letting out smiles and everyone is confused.
You visit his pet store every so often just to play with the animals. Helping out as well.
Lets you ride his bike, but keeping a very tight grip around your waist.♥️
Sorry for being so late!!😓Let me know if you want more!
NOTES: this is a very old draft that i’m posting while working on the june drabbles and mikey series <333
BAJI KEISUKE
anyone who saw baji keisuke would most likely not take him as an affectionate guy, it is a side he hides well and only keeps for your eyes to see. he can’t help but enjoy the little things. intertwining his fingers with yours whenever he wants to make sure that you know he’s there, putting an arm over your shoulder and kissing your cheek or just doing something as simple as kissing your lips.
never have you dodged his kisses before, but when you eventually turn your head so his lips misses yours and meet your cheek instead, his eyes widen. he has had a tough day being away from you while you’ve been away at school, so what did he do for you to suddenly not let him kiss you.
“what are you doing?” he stares at you blankly, getting a giggle out of you as his cheeks are suddenly squished together by your hands. “you have chocolate all over your lips, baji.”
he raises an eyebrow and quickly wipes a finger over his lips, just now realizing that the chocolate he ate an hour ago has been stuck to him since then. you’re still looking at him with a smile on your face and without having a second to react, he presses his lips to yours. “that won’t stop me, you should know better.”
CHIFUYU MATSUNO
your boyfriend would never in his life complain about getting to have you in his arms, having his arms wrapped around your waist while your head is resting in the crook of his neck. it is still early morning and none of you have any work or school to attend today, so sleeping in was an obvious choice.
the both of you awake around the same time, tired eyes gazing at one another with lazy smiles on your faces. “good morning, angel,” he mumbles, his voice just as hoarse as it always tends to be in the morning, no matter what time he wakes up.
his fingers thread through your hair while your face is still hidden by his skin. “good morning,” your voice is muffled which causes a raspy chuckle to escape his throat. he places a kiss to your temple before reaching his hand down to cup your cheek and make you look at him. “i hope you slept well, we could go back to sleep if you want.”
chifuyu leans in so his face is closer to yours, but just as his lips are only mere millimeters away from yours, you suddenly turn your head, this action causing his heart to stop. “w-what?” “hm?” you don’t seem to realize what you just did, most likely too tired to understand what he was trying to do. now realizing that it was unintentional is what makes him smile and stroke your cheek. “nothing, wanna go back to sleep?” a nod and those droopy eyes of yours only reassure him more that you wouldn’t purposely dodge his kisses without a reason. “alright, sleep tight baby.”
TAKASHI MITSUYA
there is nothing that takashi mitsuya loves more than to come home to you after a tiring day at work. all he can think about when fixing ripped shirts or making new ones is you, you will always be stuck to his mind no matter what he does.
tonight, the two of you are supposed to go out for dinner together as it will soon be your anniversary and due to your schedules, you won’t be able to do anything special when the date has come. mitsuya will be busy with work while you will have exams to study for, so both of you decided that it was better to have dinner a few days early.
when your boyfriend enters your home to quickly change into fancier clothes, he’s greeted by you who’s already standing in the hallway and waiting for him. you are already dressed up from top to toe, causing takashi mitsuya’s mouth to fall wide open. the two of you often only see each other in pajamas or the usual work clothes, so suddenly seeing you in such fancy clothes does something to his heart. not that he doesn’t always think that you’re the prettiest person alive.
you wrap your arms around his neck and give him a loose hug. “how was work?” you ask as he leans down to press his lips to yours, but right as he’s about to, you put your finger over his lips and smile softly. “lipstick, your lips will get all messed up and i’ll have to redo it,” mitsuya groans into your shoulder. “please? i’ll help you redo it.
he looks at you with pleading eyes as his gaze only continues to glide down towards your red lips. “if you get ready, you might get a kiss,” that’s all he needs to hear before he’s off towards the bedroom to change.
KEN RYUGUJI
the two of you are often together, almost as if you were stuck by the hip. if he’s hanging out with his friends, he will send you texts and tell you that he’ll be home soon. if you are away for school, you will snap a few pictures of what you are doing so he can follow you throughout the day. is this something he would ever admit to his friends though? he’ll no. you are the only one who will ever see this side of him.
so when coming home to you after a tiring day with his friends, all he wants is to hold you close and receive kisses from you. it’s what keeps him motivated throughout the day and stops him from sending you texts about how much he misses you.
ken ryuguji usually hates to show himself being vulnerable, but with you it all becomes different. you make him smile, you make him warm, so when he sees you laying on the couch, curled up under a blanket and watching a movie, draken can’t help but smile.
he walks over to you and kneels on the floor, leaning down to press a kiss to your lips, but just as his lips are about to meet yours, you suddenly turn your head, dodging his kiss. he furrows his eyebrows at that, not understanding what caused you to do that just now. “what are you doing?” he asks as you look at him again, smiling softly. “i didn’t brush my teeth this morning, my breath probably stinks.”
hearing that causes draken to chuckle and he shakes his head. “i don’t care if your breath stinks, i want to kiss you,” straight forward, something he has only started to be further into your relationship. he would never admit such a thing a year ago when you’d only been together for a couple of months. but he doesn’t allow you to react as his hand rests on your cheek and he connects his lips with yours. “missed you.”
MANJIRO SANO
there is no way to doge manjiro sano’s kisses. if he has to chase you just to get one single kiss, he will. of course he wouldn’t ever force you to kiss him, but he knows when you’re dodging his kisses just to play with him.
so when you turn your head so his lips meet your cheek instead, his eyes widen and you look at him with a smile playing at your lips right before you sprint away from him and through the living room, towards the bedroom. giggles fill the apartment as mikey chases you around the rooms, causing you to stumble over furniture and almost trip.
it is when you eventually trip on your own feet and land comfortably on the couch that mikey takes his chance and wraps his arms around your waist so you can’t flee. the both of you giggle as he tickles your sides and pulls you close, leaning in to connect his lips with yours, still with smiles on both of your faces.
“you’re getting faster,” he pants, collapsing on top of you as he’s suddenly run out of energy after all that running. you smile softly, running a hand through his blonde hair as he relaxes into your touch, continuing to press a few kisses to your lips. “i love your kisses, will do anything to get them.”
SHINICHIRO SANO
his heart would break into a million pieces if you ever tried to dodge his kisses. his mind will fill with a hundred thoughts at the same time. what did he do wrong? are you mad at him? is he a bad kisser? are you going to break up with him? did he say something that hurt your feelings before he left for work?
the questions are many when you look away from him just as he leans in to kiss you. almost in an instant, his eyes begins to water. he finds it difficult to understand what he did wrong, you were smiling when he walked through the door, weren’t you? he thought you were happy to see him.
shinichiro looks down and doesn’t say a word while taking his jacket off and putting it on a hanger. he puts his shoes by yours and grabs his backpack to carry it into the bedroom. seeing him in such a down mood is what causes you to drop the act, cupping his face and looking right into his eyes. “i’m so sorry, shin. me and my friends wanted to try to dodge our boyfriend’s kisses to see how you would react, i’m so sorry.”
your thumb rubs against his cheek and he visibly relaxes at the explanation, letting out a sigh of relief. “i love your kisses, shin. i’m sorry for making you so sad,” you lean in to press your kiss to his for a short but sweet kiss. shinichiro puts a hand on your waist while the other one is still holding his backpack. “it was a little mean,” he mumbles.
he intertwines his fingers with yours and walks into the bedroom with you following behind. your boyfriend drops the backpack on the floor and puts his arms around your waist, pulling you onto the bed so he can cuddle up to you. “you’ll have to make it up to me with lots of kisses.” “of course, shin. you’ll get all the kisses you want.”

One evening during summer vacation, the entirety of Class 1-A decided to pile into the Yaoyorozu family estate, ready to celebrate a few weeks of freedom from your studies.
Yaoyorozu was more than happy to host, and her parents were even happier to retire to their summer home so that everyone could relax without any parents cramping their style.
"Let's play a game!" Declared Ashido excitedly, barely waiting long enough to let everyone settle in.
"Did you have something in mind?" Jirou asked with a roll of her eyes, knowing fine well Ashido had been scheming from the moment today's plans were first announced.
"You bet."
Her smile was devious. It unsettled many.
Just to her left, you were sitting shoulder-to-shoulder with Hagakure on one of the many plush armchairs dotted across the lounge. You were interested in what Ashido had to say, but couldn't help smiling as you looked around at everyone.
You were a few weeks into summer vacation, meaning you hadn't seen many of your classmates in that long. You were surprised by how much you'd missed them.
"Hey, stranger," Hagakure murmured, leaning close to your ear. "Don't think you're leaving here without arranging a hangout with us, Miss 'I never answer my texts'."
Her words lingered as you smiled sheepishly.
"Sorry, Hagakure. It's been a busy few weeks."
Truth be told, you hadn't been busy at all. But something had happened in the final week of term that had left you dealing with feelings you didn't know what to do with. And you were sure hanging out with the gang would only make those feelings worse.
Without meaning to, your gaze wandered across to Ojiro. He was sharing a couch with Tokoyami, looking as calm and as cheery as always, wearing black sweats and a grey, sleeveless hoodie that kept pulling your gaze back to the broad definition of his shoulders.
He glanced your way as you watched him. He seemed surprised at first, but smiled and gave you a little wave hello. With a jerk, you sat up straight and dragged your attention back to Ashido, already feeling your cheeks threatening to burn.
You just couldn't look at him the same way now.
During the last week before vacation, you had found yourself in just the right place at the right time to overhear Ojiro defending you to a group of boys from another class. Apparently they had said some less-than-reputable things about you. Which wasn't unheard of. You knew you were a bit of an odd-bod and people did like to talk.
But you'd never heard Ojiro so angry before. He was quick to defend you, and even went as far as rattling off a long list of things he liked about you to prove that they had misjudged you.
Honestly, you'd never heard anyone say such nice things about you before. Let alone so many at once. Every time you thought back on the moment, you ended up flustered.
Trouble was, now you couldn't look at him without feeling nervous. He'd only defended you as a friend, but knowing that he had your back like that, and that he thought all those nice things about you... it was hard not to look at him differently. It was hard not to notice the softness in his expressions, or the deep lull of his laugh, and suddenly you were seeing handsome little quirks in his mannerisms that you were sure hadn't been there before.
Your feelings were getting out of control, and what was worse, you knew you were making a bigger deal out of him defending you than necessary.
You didn't like that your heart was trying to jeopardise your friendship, so you were doing all you could to hold Ojiro at arm's length until you got it under control.
"Let's play snuggle-bug!" Ashido announced.
The declaration was met by confused silence.
"Snuggle-what-now?" Hagakure asked. She sounded intrigued, but no less confused than anyone else.
"Snuggle-bug!" Ashido said again, like she couldn't believe no-one had heard of it before. "Oh, come on. It's like hide-and-seek. We draw lots to decide who the bugs are, then everyone spreads out; the bugs have to hide and everyone else has to find them. If a bug isn't found in ten minutes, they win. Otherwise the person snuggling them at the end wins."
"Yes!" Ashido said with a gleeful grin. "And if someone else finds your bug before the end of the game, you've got to give up your bug and find a new one. So if you like your bug..." She made meaningful eye-contact with a few different people, including you. "You'd better keep them hidden."
The hairs along your neck stood up. For some reason you felt like your secret feelings had already been rumbled. But surely Ashido couldn't know. You'd told no one, and had done your best to keep things under wraps.
"Let's do it!" Kaminari said eagerly, leading a charge that rippled through everyone and got them into a man-hunting mood.
That, or everyone really needed a hug.
After some prep-work, Ashido had all of you pick a slip of paper from a bowl. Three of the slips were bugs, and the rest were blanks.
You checked your paper. On it were the words: 'snuggle bug.'
Your heart started beating nineteen to the dozen. That was a lot of pressure.
Faced with the uncertainty of who could be about to cuddle you, you suddenly became aware of all the different players. You glanced at Mineta, in particular. If he wasn't also a bug, you needed to make sure you hid well.
When the game began, Yaoyorozu shut off the lights then everyone fanned out. You had one minute to hide, then the claxon would blare to signal the start of the game.
You didn't know the layout of Yaoyorozu's home all that well, but luckily, aside from the class president herself, no one else did either. Hoping to use that to your advantage, you put as much distance between you and the lounge as you could. The main house was large. It would take anyone a while to search room-by-room. So you needed to find a far-away corner to sit tight in.
And you found just the spot in Yaoyorozu's parents' room. You hesitated at first, realising whose room it was, but figured that the same hesitation might stop others coming in to find you, too.
You climbed into the large ottoman at the foot of the bed just as the claxon sounded.
Ten minutes. You could do this.
As you waited to hear the second claxon, you congratulated yourself on finding such a comfortable hiding spot. You hoped Yaoyorozu's parents could forgive you for lying on their folded bed-linens, though. Even with ample wiggle-room, you tried to keep still so things wouldn't get too creased.
It was hard to tell how much time passed. You were in total darkness and the linens muffled most noises, but when you listened closely you could hear people running around. You wondered if another bug had been found yet.
The creak of a floorboard suddenly pulled you from your thoughts and back to your senses. The fact you hadn't had to strain to hear the noise meant one thing: someone was in the room.
Suddenly aware of how loud your breathing was, you clamped your hands over your mouth and stayed deathly still. You wondered what your chances were of remaining unfound. But then again. If you were anyone else, the person-sized chest would be the first place you'd check.
Their footsteps were quiet. You really had to strain to hear them -- which immediately put you on edge. They either had to be someone light-footed, or someone who weighed less than average because they were small.
That last thought horrified you.
You prayed not to see Mineta's purple hair as the chest opened.
Truthfully, you were only half-relieved when you saw it wasn’t him.
“Ah. You found me.”
You looked up at Ojiro, noticing that his tail started wagging when he realised who he had found, nestled amongst the bedding.
Even in the dark, you could see his pleased smile.
“I guess I don’t need to ask if you’re a snugglebug, then?”
He stepped back, offering you his hand to help you out of the chest.
But you hesitated to move. You could only be thankful for the lack of lighting. It hid the fact you were both giddy and panicking at the same time.
The game dictated that you and Ojiro had to cuddle. It was the best—no, worst—no... it was a situation, and you didn’t know how to feel. You weren’t sure if your heart could take having Ojiro cuddling up to you now, not when you were trying desperately to deny your own feelings for him.
But you supposed snuggling was the name of the game. You had to do it, to avoid the question of why you didn’t want to do it. It would only be for a short while. You could endure the cuddle, as long as your heart remained under strict instructions not to run off with your feelings.
Perhaps Ojiro caught wind of your hesitation, as he let his hand drop when you failed to climb from the ottoman. He cleared his throat, then sat down with his back pressed against the outside of the box. For a moment, he looked back at you with a friendly smile then turned his attention elsewhere.
When he seemed to look settled, you quirked an eyebrow. You opened your mouth to ask if he actually intended to cuddle you, but stopped when you realised it would come out sounding desperate.
You couldn’t ignore how disappointed you felt, lying alone in the ottoman now.
“Aren’t you… meant to hug me or something? That’s how the game works, right? You cuddle the bug?”
You did your best to play your nerves off as a playful dig as you sat up, resting your chin on the lip of the ottoman. Ojiro couldn’t help but chuckle when he saw what you were doing, how childish you looked with a small pout on your lips that you weren’t aware you were making. But then his smile faltered.
“I won’t force you into a cuddle you don’t want. I’d never want to… make you uncomfortable.”
Silence followed. You weren’t sure what to say. His words felt loaded, and you could hear a melancholy tone to his voice that made your chest ache. This wasn’t like him.
As Ojiro continued, he ran his hand up through the back of his hair awkwardly.
“…You’ve been acting different around me recently. Kind of skittish. The last thing I want is to invade your personal space if... you don’t want me there.”
Guilt hit you instantly. Of course Ojiro had noticed you keeping him at a distance. And instead of calling you a bad friend, he was being considerate of your feelings. Just another reason to add to the pile of why your heart increasingly, desperately wanted him.
However, his wording really caught your attention.
You cleared your throat with a quiet cough.
“So, um, just to clarify… do you want to cuddle with me, or not?”
Ojiro’s tail swished like a suddenly-wary cat.
“Not if you don’t want me to.”
You rolled your eyes at his answer, then sat up so you could lean out of the ottoman to look at him properly.
“I asked what you want.”
It was dark so you couldn’t see the full effects of your statement, but given that you only managed to hold Ojiro’s gaze for a moment before he glanced away, you had to wonder if he was blushing. His tail swished again.
“I’d… I’d like to cud—I’d like to cuddle you.” He stammered, though his final words were definitive. There was no chance for misinterpretation. And hearing them only made your heart ache more. Not only were you fighting your feelings, but now you felt guiltier. Because no matter what Ojiro was to you, you had pushed him away and he had noticed. And he wanted to cuddle with you – whether for comfort or something else, you didn’t care. You only knew that you weren’t going to turn him away now, your heart be damned.
Despite the turbulence inside yourself, your words came out in that same, playful and calm manner Ojiro knew from you so well.
“Come cuddle me then.”
You laid down in the ottoman, pressing yourself to the front of it to give Ojiro space should he actually want to join you.
You held your breath. You didn’t know how this would go. But to your relief, you heard Ojiro heave himself up from the floor then he carefully climbed in behind you, before pulling you tight against his chest with very little ceremony, his muscular arms holding you close to him.
You had to fight to hold in the gasp that threatened to burst out of you. You hadn’t expected Ojiro to be this willing to have you pressed so tight against him.
“Sorry,” he said immediately, his breath fanning the back of your ear as his words came out softly. “It’s a tight fit with my tail. It’s always getting in the way.”
You tried to reason with yourself then that, at least in part, Ojiro’s bold embrace was strategic. Holding you close was the only way to get you, him, and his small-human-sized tail into the ottoman all at once.
When he was settled, Ojiro’s tail flicked the ottoman closed, then he rested it over you, hugging you with it like a third arm.
Your face felt like it was on fire. So much of Ojiro’s body was pressed against you, and it felt even better than you could ever have dreamed. His strong muscles, now relaxed, were spongy and soft like pillows, yet you could still feel the strength in arms as he held you.
You weren’t sure you could utter a word coherently right now, so you kept quiet, and instead listened to his breathing as his presence invaded your senses. He was so close. He was so warm. His breath fanned gently against the back of your neck, and he held you so close that you could smell that familiar scent of oranges and vanilla that he liked to wear, mixed in with the comforting smell of his skin.
Unable to find the words, you stayed that way for some time, simply curled up in Ojiro’s arms as you fought to hate the feeling, but you couldn’t. It felt too good.
Just then, you heard the creak of a floorboard. You gasped in surprise, while Ojiro pulled you closer. His wasn’t a jumpy, knee-jerk reaction like yours. It was a slow and deliberate movement, like he was pulling you closer to make you feel safe.
Both of you listened for a while, waiting to hear another sound. But nothing came. Not from close by, anyway. You could still hear the muffled sounds of your classmates around the house, both yells and laughter, but nothing to make you think you’d been found.
You didn’t want to be found. You wondered if you might manage to stay here until the game ended, whenever that might be.
As you thought about that, a knot twisted in your stomach. You didn’t know how much longer you had left. What would happen when the game was over and you no longer had the obligation to cuddle with Ojiro… and he no longer had the obligation to cuddle with you?
“Ojiro…” you began, but couldn’t bring yourself to say more; to admit how you were really feeling. But as the quiet carried on, you realised it needed to be said. You couldn’t bear Ojiro thinking you were uncomfortable around him; that he had done something wrong. You didn’t want him thinking that this cuddle… that you were only willing to do it as part of a game. Because you knew that was the furthest thing from the truth.
You dared to bring your voice just above a whisper as you swallowed to clear your throat.
“I overheard you at school.”
Ojiro pulled you closer, lifting his head so his cheek was pressing against the side of your face so he could hear you better.
“When?”
“When you defended me against those boys. What you said about me.”
His body tensed. It was hard for you to miss.
“I…” he began to stammer, his voice barely contained to a whisper. “I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean to embarrass you. I’m sorry if I— I didn’t mean to speak out of turn. Is that—is it why you’ve been acting off around me—”
Hearing the desperation growing in his voice, you cut him off by finishing your thought.
“It made me so happy.”
Ojiro went quiet. He breathed a single word, like he couldn’t believe what his own ears had heard.
“What?”
You touched his arm as he held you, both as a sign of affection and to steel yourself for the rest of what you had to say.
“I’ve never heard anyone say such nice things about me before. It made me happy. Maybe… too happy.”
You paused to take a breath. You knew you had to tell him why you’d been avoiding him. You knew you had to come clean.
But before you could utter the words, Ojiro turned his face towards you to speak, his nose nuzzling your cheek as he did.
“I meant every word of it. You really are the sweetest girl. You might be a little different but that’s why I like you.”
“Ojiro, I—”
“That’s why I really like you.”
His words hung in the air. What had first sounded like a confirmation of friendship, now had your heart in a tizzy.
“You... like me?”
You murmured, sounding shocked and in disbelief.
Ojiro squeezed you. His tail started wagging, thump-thump-thumping against the side of the ottoman.
“I really do. And I only realised how much once I thought I’d done something to make you hate me. It made me realise… I don’t want to lose you.”
Your guilt at keeping Ojiro at arm’s length hit you all over again.
“I’m sorry. I only kept my distance because I was afraid of my feelings.”
Ojiro’s tail started thumping harder against the side of the ottoman. He couldn’t keep the excitement from his voice.
“Do you like me too?”
Unfortunately the revelation came too late, as Ojiro’s excited tail became a beacon for your location. He had no time to rectify his mistake, as in the next moment, the top of the ottoman lifted up and the pair of you looked up to see Kaminari peering down. Ojiro’s hold on you grew much tighter. You groaned at Kaminari’s terrible timing.
Oblivious to the moment he had just interrupted, Kaminari grinned triumphantly.
“Which of you is the snugglebug?”
Seeing no way to get the moment back, you begrudgingly raised your hand.
“I am.”
Kaminari’s grin only broadened. He threw his thumb over his shoulder, looking at Ojiro.
“Shift it.”
Ojiro hesitated. He made no effort to move at all. Then, suddenly, the claxon blared, making all three of you jump. Kaminari straightened up after hearing the sound, throwing his hands into his hair with an exasperated groan.
“Are you kidding me? I was just about to snuggle with a hottie. Come on!”
The fact he had technically won did not seem to matter. Kaminari felt robbed.
As he skulked off, Ojiro began untangling himself from you, then helped the both of you out of the ottoman. When you were out, in true Ojiro style, he started trying to straighten out the crumpled bedlinen out of respect for Yaoyorozu’s parents. You watched him with a smile, though you felt nervous. Both of you had just confessed your feelings like it was the most natural thing in the world, but you had no idea where that left the two of you.
You bit your lip as he straightened up then closed the ottoman with his tail, giving his attention back to you.
Now that your eyes were adjusted to the darkness, you could see the warmth in his expression as he looked at you. It eased your worries, but you needed to know for sure.
“So… what now?” You asked.
Without missing a beat, Ojiro offered you his hand to hold.
“How about a movie this weekend? Not with the gang, I mean. Just... you and me.”
You could hear the nerves in his voice, like he was putting his heart on the line for this.
With a warm smile, you slipped your hand into his then gave it a squeeze to reassure him.
“I’d like that.”
Now that your fingers were intertwined, the two of you headed back to the lounge, both feeling as nervous but as happy as each other. Neither of you were prepared for Hagakure’s happy, banshee-like screeching the moment she set her sights on you.
You smiled as Ojiro’s hand held yours tighter, then he led you into the room.
So, you didn’t manage to win snugglebug. But truly, you didn’t mind. What you had won, and what the future held, was much, much better.
