i just realized i never introduced the Hoppers/HK oc i made back when i just watched the movie here

and as may be previously suggested above; Jin comes from Pharloom but now he lives in Beaverton.

- how did they get from point A to B?

interuniversal travel idk. after they escaped the hellhole that is the Citadel, he bounced along with a couple merchants (which itself belongs to something much bigger) before eventually finding himself settling down where he is today.

his Citadel attire + caterpillar form:

i don’t know how much time he exactly spent in Beaverton before the events of the movie? but he was a follower of an insect queen for a decent time up until her death, before disappearing as soon as the news reached his ears. an act of silent disapproval if you will. he doesn’t dislike titus per-say; he was cute as caterpillar, but having him as their king just didn’t sit right with them so they left.

personality wise.. they are one of the more unfriendly ones? appearing often as stand off-ish when spoken to or even cold. however, he can be sweet to a select few animals whom he cares for and sometimes he makes an effort to being mannered. Jin has a habit of disappearing a lot, and can often be found resting or hiding in somewhere remote.

- not particularly liked or disliked by most animals. his aloof demeanor often makes him a mystery and a source of slight discomfort for them. and due to the pin he carries so confidently around, it’s rumored amongst the insects that he once fought off some sort of large animal, hence earning his place by the queen’s side.

- also at some point much later on in his story, he returns to Pharloom. around the time of act 3.

they have a close relationship with my other Hoppers oc, Humming. he views her as his little sister.

i’ve made one previously today but since i want to make some changes. i decided to just remake it.

in regards to my fanart (any art made of canon characters that i do not own)

yes you can repost them

yes you can still use them for personal online use only. such as for pfps, banners, and stuff like that.

AND, preferably, i would prefer that you’d credit me somewhere if you do. like said in the image, i won’t bug you if you don’t, just know, that is my preference.

the easiest way would be to just ping me on post. i go by mistieko on pretty much every platform; twitter, instagram, etc. (i have a lot of accounts i’m not active on, but everyone with that username should be me)

no, you cannot do stuff like make merch items with my art. unless i make another post saying otherwise. i am not comfortable with people doing that.

for art of my OCs (characters that i own)

UNLESS you’ve received explicit permission from me. you cannot use them. not as pfps, etc.

i generally would allow people to repost, it’s just that i will need you to ask me first and there must be visible credit under the post. preferably easily assessable for anyone who wants to find me.

i really enjoy drawing Fish with Blister. although admittedly, sometimes i tone their interactions down because i’m afraid it may seem too affectionate, like an oc x canon.

i think my way of seeing their relationship (and Fish’s relationship with other characters i draw her with) is very close to something like that, but it’s not romantic (quite uncomfortable with that kind of saying actually, but i feel the need to make this VERY CLEAR) as Fish like myself, is aroace and does not experience that kind of feelings.

she adores my favorite characters like i do, she loves them dearly like they are her own children. although, it’s more like a mixture of love you’d have for a beloved pet and that.

it’s hard to explain as Fish is a bit of a complicated way of seeing things. you could also say she loves those around her like they are her favorite character less than people. its very odd and i think easily misinterpreted

idk, i’ve always felt very at home seeing self-shipping stuff/with people who self-ship, but at the same time very distant?

i feel the intrusive thoughts to get into it sometimes. like i’m VERY close to it, but it’s very much not for me

- He’d be impressed i think. In addition to being royalty, Hornet’s very unlike and significantly stronger the bugs in Hoppers(i mean she’s a demigod). Titus would try to recruit her- unsuccessfully ofc
