Queridas Metiches; (Dear Nosies/Meddlers)

Today I have learned when to defend the enemy. And believe it was a hard lesson to learn :((. But sometimes old people, specially those who deflect their unworthiness (or what they feel is lack of acknowledgment) into others. Believe me I love a good mitote; a good chisme. But sometimes you gotta realize the stick is too far up your ass and if you haven’t risen up the ladder of success it’s by your own volition and lack of determination for yourself.

E.G; A director at work tells me to have guests sign a letter of acknowledgement - other supervisor says they’ve never done that and wondering if this director is talking smack.

Yes he is but also the previous director of this department has also told my staff to follow this procedure and I’ve had guests thank me and compliment the company because we were implementing this protocol today. Personally I also believe this protocol should be implemented if not my department handling this then have the team leads handle this task. Nevertheless….

This is to remind my metiches; we are all human and when the chisme make you want to defend the opp….its good to listen to your intuition.
