So I started contouring probably about...2-3 months ago? Here are my final thoughts on these products! Swipe ➡️ for more photos! . 💐#toocoolforschool Art Class by Rodin Shading - people not entirely in the know of #kbeauty have probably seen this brand in Sephora, I'm surprised they don't have this cult favorite on their website! I usually swipe across from the darkest shade to light and apply this on my jawline and lower cheekbones. Surprise, surprise, normal contouring tutorials don't work on my East Asian face 🇹🇼 Still a work in progress, but luckily it blends very well. 💐Too Cool For School Art Class by Rodin Highlighter - my fav highlighter that I own! Keep in mind I only have 2 😋 I only apply this on my high cheekbones because I find highlighting on my nose and forehead kinda...weird. 💐#etudehouse Play 101 Stick Contour Duo #1 Highlighter + Shading - the previous products were powder, this is cream-based. This has been great for quick makeup, but wth?? I've only owned this for 1 1/2 months and there's cracks in it 😩 same thing happened to my eyebrow pencil from the same company, must be somewhat cheap packaging quality...in any case, the contour blends like a dream BUT the highlighter is patchy and me no likey. At least no one's staring at my face from 5 inches away so I still make it work ✌️

My haul from #etudehouse came in today! I restocked on sheet masks and grabbed some makeup to get free shipping. I've already tried the 0.2 Therapy Air masks in Tea Tree (HG), Green Tea, and Snail, so I'm excited to see how Pomegranate and Damask Rose works! I grabbed another one of their Cookie Blushers (I already own 3) and for fun, the Play 101 Stick Contour Duo. I've only recently started dipping my toes into contouring, so here's hoping this won't make me look weird! 🤡

I've always wanted to do an #empties post, but I usually end up tossing out all the bottles when my drawer gets cluttered 🙄 so for the first time ever, my February and March empties! . 💚#Murad Rapid Age Spot and Pigment Lightening Serum - I fell in love with this 2 years ago when I got a deluxe sample from @sephora . I've repurchased twice and highly recommended it to anyone who was around. I'm replacing this with the highly popular (and much more affordable) serum from Japanese brand Melano CC, so we'll see how that goes! 💚#Mizon Snail Recovery Gel Cream - been a staple in my routine from the very beginning of my AB journey, now that the weather's warmer (I say as it was in the 40s today 😑), I won't need this anymore. See you in the fall! P.S. the tube isn't really that tiny, I just cut it open when it starts running out so I can scoop out the rest. 💚#SecretKey Perfect Zero Melting Cleanser - an obvious dupe of the popular #sherbetcleanser from #banilaco , this one worked just as fine at a lower price point. The only thing I didn't like was THE SMELL - lemons just slapping you in the face! Will not repurchase. 💚#Innisfree Jeju Sparkling Mineral Mist - got me through the dry winter. Might repurchase. 💚#Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser - loooved this cleanser, but couldn't commit to the higher price. Will want to repurchase when I'm rolling in dough 🤑 💚#Missha Time Revolution The First Treatment Essence Mist - I was expecting miracles but this was just okay. Also ran out way fast! Just 2 months?? 😣 💚#Pixi Glow Tonic - I've since gotten the 250 ml version online and I'm a believer! I found that using it twice a day was too much so I just apply this at night. My mom sent me a care package of stuff she bought in Taiwan! You can check out everything on my Instastories, I talk A LOT. This is all the beauty stuff she got me 😆😆 . 🐚Japanese foot patches - I'm too lazy to translate, so I don't know the brand or the exact name in English. My cousin gifted me a box of these when I was in Taiwan this last summer and I fell IN LOVE. It's hard to describe but they're really soft? You're supposed to stick them on the bottom of your feet when you're sore from standing in them all day. I use these just about everywhere! Too hard to find in the US, grrr 🐚#DrMorita sheet masks in Moisturizing and Revitalizing - I should've told my mom to buy me more!! I really like this Taiwanese brand. Just the right amount of essence for me. 🐚#MissHana Smoky Eyeliner - I really wanted the Miss Hana X CHOO CHOO Cat collab that @beautyandthecat talked about, but I think my mom didn't realize that since she only got the normal stuff, lol...In any case, this appears to be a dual-ended eyeliner, a pencil and a sponge that can smudge it out. I probably won't be testing this anytime soon since I tend to wear brown liners 🐚Miss Hana Radiant Cushion Compact Foundation SPF50+ in shade 02 Luminous Beige - my first non-Korean cushion! I still don't know if Miss Hana is Japanese or Taiwanese. And I don't know if this matches me. We'll see this weekend!

I think I had a mini-heart attack when I saw we were posting eye makeup today for #abnewyearstashchallenge . Easily the largest section of my makeup, the reason I got into #asianbeauty products was because I was tired of having eyeliners smudge on me. Everything here are all the eyeshadows I own! Finally, lip balms/lip treatments! . 💄#Forever21 Love & Beauty Sweet Macaroon Lip Balms in Strawberry and Coconut - okay I just realized they spelled "macaron" wrong...Grrr. These are obviously based on the macaron lip balms from Korean brand It's Skin, these are just okay, very waxy. 💄#Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask - I LOVE THIS, I apply this before going to sleep and I don't have dry lip flakes at all. A little also goes a long way! I've had this for over a year and I've barely made a dent in it - expiry dates be damned, I'm keeping this forever!! 💄#Chosungah22 Flavorful Lipstick in shade Golden Peach Tea - I bought this by mistake thinking it was a jelly tint. Not really that moisturizing, it just makes me look fancy. 💄#Supergoop Mintfusion Lip Balm with Shea Butter SPF30 - I apply this in the morning with my sunscreen, I specifically got this as sunscreen for my lips. Really is goopy, a little goes a long way! 💄#PureSmile Snail Lip Treatment in Honey - this Japanese product was super popular but I heard it's been discontinued! It's super sticky so that's the only reason I prefer the Laneige Lip Mask over this at night. . And that's it! Phew!

This pic contains the 3 products I've been using lately and some liquid lips I barely use anymore! . 💄#Dior Lip Glow in no. 001 Pink - I grabbed this to make VIB in Sephora and I'm kinda happy and disappointed with it. It's a VERY natural pink - sometimes too natural! But this has been great for layering over watery tints that normally don't tint well on me. And that's what these next 2 are! 💄#Chosungah22 Dual Lip Tint & Gloss in color Chiffon - okay, the gloss side of this is terrible, really REALLY sticky. The tint side is more of a watery gel, but due to my upper lip not staining evenly with watery tints, this had been left alone for a long time. Now layered under the lip glow, this gives me a VERY bright pink lip which fades away after eating. 💄#Berrisom My Lip Tint Pack in shade Bubble Pink - the famous peel-off tint that took the world by storm, this really does stain all day but is SO DRYING. Again, layered under my Lip Glow, this is a perfect pink lip for me. I tend to just use this on the weekend due to me being too impatient to wait in the mornings. 💄#Rimmel Provocalips 16 Hr Kiss Proof Lip Color in various shades - I bought these before my honeymoon because I went on a cruise and wanted waterproof makeup. These really last a long-time but since I've gotten used to a more natural look, these haven't been touched in quite a while!

These are my favorite section, jelly lip tints/tinted balms! We don't really sell anything like this in the US (the jelly tints, that is) and I love how moisturizing these are while giving me a MLBB look. However, these all aren't created equal! . 💄#PeriPera Peri's Tint Jelly Stick in Apple Stick and Sky Stick - these are HOLY GRAILS but unfortunately discontinued!!! Apple Stick was the best natural pink shade and Sky Stick was such a pretty fuschia on me. Stained my lips the whole day and was really long-lasting and moisturizing. So incredibly sad you can't find these anymore! 😭😭 💄#Skinfood Tomato Jelly Tint Stick in no. 2 Berry Tomato - pretty decent replacement for my PeriPera tints but kind of leaves a thick film on top. Not as long-lasting either. 💄#EtudeHouse Dear My Blooming Lips Talk Jelly in shade JPK002 - my most recently acquired lip tint, it's not that long-lasting or moisturizing but the color is a nice pink and when layered under a lip balm, can be wearable until your next meal 💄#HolikaHolika Aqua Petit Jelly CC Tintbar in no. 01 Cherry - basically a tinted lip balm, cute color but not long-lasting 💄#TonyMoly Petite Bunny Gloss Bar in no. 3 Juicy Apple - same as above! 💄 PeriPera Sweet Pea Jelly in no. 3 Goddess Pink - PeriPera had informed me over Twitter that a replacement line was coming out for their discontinued Jelly Sticks and I thought these were in. My hopes and dreams were crushed 😣 streaky in my lips and not long-lasting, I'm only keeping this around because... because!

I don't own any highlighters or bronzers, but I do have a surprising amount of blushes. It's funny because I naturally have rosy cheeks (sometimes too rosy, my LJH Tea Tree 90 Serum helps keep it at bay) so I don't really need blush. Still, I can't help but want to collect them! . 🍒#EtudeHouse Lovely Cookie Blusher in No. 6 Grapefruit Jelly - I love Etude House's Cookie Blushers, can you tell?? They're so cheap and adorable and they all come with an included puff. This was my first AB blush and the color is a natural coral pink on me. Sooo in love 😍 🍒#Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-hour Blush in shade Exposed - a cult favorite, this shade is super natural. I bought this in the beginning of my makeup journey before discovering AB, otherwise I probably wouldn't have splurged on it. 🍒 Etude House Lovely Cookie Blusher in No. 7 Rose Sugar Macaron - I bought this in Taiwan last summer when I went crazy over bring in an actual Etude House store. This is the only blush I own with a shimmer, so it's probably better as an eyeshadow instead, it's a bit too dark for my liking. 🍒 Etude House Lovely Cookie Blusher in No. 2 Strawberry Choux - a natural pink on me, brighter than Grapefruit Jelly. Also picked this up in Taiwan. 🍒 Etude House Lovely Cookie Blusher in No. 10 Peach Parfait - this product surprised me because I only bought it in an attempt to have all the Etude House blushers. It's actually very natural looking on me and great for days when I wanna look like I have no blush applied!

I only have one face powder to show for #abnewyearstashchallenge , the #Innisfree No-Sebum Mineral Powder! I bought 3 for $15 because you had to buy it in packs at the Incheon airport, I ended up giving one away to my sister-in-law. This powder leaves my skin feeling silky smooth and is great as dry shampoo! There's an included puff that sometimes deposits too much product, so I would definitely use a powder brush afterwards. Highly recommend!!

Time for #bbcreams on the #abnewyearstashchallenge ! I actually used to use just #bbcushions but recently, I got an actual bb cream! For reference, my skin is normal with a drier forehead, I'm roughly a NC15 in MAC shades, and I prefer a natural finish. Read on for mini-reviews! . 🍀#Innisfree Long Wear Cushion SPF50+/PA+++ in shade 21 - this runs a little yellow but still works for me. I wear this in the summertime when I know I'll sweat and it holds up! Cracks a little around the nose though. 🍀#IOPE Air Cushion XP Matte Finish SPF50+/PA+++ in shade M21 - this was my first cushion ever when I wasn't really feeling the dewy trend. I don't really wear this anymore, occasionally use it to cover up random bruises on my legs 😏 🍀#HolikaHolika Aqua Petit Jelly BB Cream in shade 1 - the newest member of my BB cream collection, I'm really loving this despite not being in a convenient cushion form. Longer-lasting than my cushions and a bit more coverage. Hasn't really cracked either! 🍀#APIEU Air-fit Cushion SPF50+/PA+++ Doraemon edition in shade 21 - I picked this up in Taiwan cuz I'm a sucker for 小叮噹 (what Doraemon used to be called in the Chinese-speaking world until sometime in the 2000s). It runs slightly light on me, but I love the finish because it's not too dewy or matte. Stopped using it this winter though. 🍀#Hera UV Mist Cushion SPF50+/PA+++ in shade N21 - my favorite cushion so far, and most expensive (go figure). I'm already on my refill and I'm dreading running out. I've stopped using this since getting the Holika Holika BB cream and I kinda miss it. It's the most natural and a great match for my skin tone but it does crack a little bit around the nose sometime. Still, really love it!
